It can, but sometimes it can be very windy here, so i try to be near it as possible (naka upo sa likod ng pickup) or standing sa gitna ng tubohan.

Walk-jog. I stopped for almost a year because of sciatica then a torn meniscus. I hope it doesn’t act up anymore.

Did some gardening. Underestimated the lantana plant's invasiveness. Maganda siya at mabulaklak peto Kung hindi bantayan papatayin mga ibang halaman.

Good thing is may anti-mosquito properties sya kaya ok na din. At least dual purpose.

do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do

Boss kamusta? My former office offered early retirement last 2019. Seems reasonable naman, so i took the plunge. The earlier i get out of corporate, the better (for me) yata.

So decided to go farming fulltime, since we were able to acquire a piece of land here in Lian (Batangas) plus we have our family farm in Negros.

Alas and alack, this pandemic happened. An earlier purchase of a seaside house in Nasugbu, proved to be a saving grace of sorts as we are now staying here more frequently than in our cavite house.

The better half goes to Makati twice a week to check in sa kanilang office. I go with her to do the groceries and what not. Then balik Nasugbu agad.

Zoom mass for my Lola's 40th day mass. My relatives will NEVER let it go na the mass on my Lola's burial was done in bisaya. NONE of us understood so now a lot asked if it will be in English or Bisaya. Di ko alam if they were being petty 😂

I love the homily. Father's mother attended and she told the story about my Lola's driving and how she was so feisty driving around Makati until her 80s! Father also had many stories about my Lola. He said na my Lola has a lot of priests na BFF. The priest who baptized me was her friend (na dream ko sana mag officiate ng wedding ko) I miss Lola so much. Made me cry in the end when Fr said that Lola was close to perfect - indeed!

i once had occasion to attend Mass celebrated in a foreign tongue.
i was in HK, and the only available Mass was in chinese.
    it was an uncomfortable feeling.

Doc, what's so funny is we are all Tagalog. It's just that my Uncle thought it was better for my Lola to move out of Manila.

Even Tagalog mass doc mahirap. I only started attending Tagalog mass in Quiapo in Dec 2020 and it was a bit disconcerting. I am ashamed to say I only know the Lord's prayer in Tagalog. Medyo mahirap intindihin kasi malalim.
