Sir,can you please advise me your supplier of AC Delco#88865157,as per my Amazon on line shopping price is 18.95 Dollar per liter.US(Michigan) made.Full synth.SAE 5W-30 for Diesel Dexos2. Our unit is Spin 1.5 Gas. I am using 5W-30 Full Synth. South Korean made,replaced it myself,bought same filter as the old one(450peso)-casa replaced filter AC Delco#96985730.As per markings-made in S.Korea. We were unlucky:not been issued with the Owners Manual to date despite repeated follow ups(please advise if you got a copy).Ours is running 5th year & runs better with the newly replaced motor oil. Unlike the Old casa oil(dirty black color-with only 3T KM). It is recorded on the Maintenance Book as Dex os 1. Hard to believe-at only 3T KM running and the condition of the old oil was terrible. Please note that Casa is a business establishment-anything could happen especially if you cannot personally supervise every case. Also, had read some bad reports from U.S.A.Casas. If it happens there...here in Phil. it is not that far....T.Y.

You should demand for the manual by calling Chevy PH. If you misplaced it you may buy one as they are sold separately like stickers, emblems, parts, etc. I had mine digitized for backup just in case i lost it.

Manual says Dexos1 for petrol, Dexos2 for diesel. I bet you could opt for much better oil than dexos now that your'e out of warrantey. The petrol is not sensitive like diesel when it comes to oil as the emission control in petrol is limited to cat, pcv, canister evaporator. I bet your engine will be fine with the 5w30 semi or FS from shell/chevron.

I got the diesel variant LT. The only good side is very cheap on fuel, almost 1 full-tank for the whole month. Now the AC is acting up with low refrigerant, will schedule a UV dye for leak testing.

My best bet is that Chevy Phils is about to shutdown Ph ops maybe in 3yrs period because of very poor sales and i bet that is another reason why most dealership now sucks they are starting to layoff people.

Sir, I agree with a recommendation that we patronize Dexos approved Lubricants manufactured from our neighbors(from Japan down to Singapore). Somehow, may improve our economic level. All over the world, there are lots of manufacturers from USA,Europe, to Africa(Nigeria), all the same, they all refer and adhere to certain approve standard to pass Dexos requirements. However, I been checking the internet lately but failed to find the lists of approved Dexos Lubricants...all are blocked or leads to nothing, please advise, which ones are "economically" approved. T.Y.

you're right the website is offline. dexos2 oils cannot be faked because they need to be licensed to have approval. zic x9 5w30 is available from our in-house zic supplier crazy_boy

The Covenent Car Company is closing? Where did you read it? I know that HARI, the company that imports Hyundai & TCCCI are sister companies. Did I read it right?

This happened since GM launched their own GM Brand Dexos Lubricants..For sure GM would insist and dictate to use their own brand of oils at their advantage prices...especially those newly purchased chevy cars under warranty. I believe they shut down all previously approved Dexos oils of different brands for their advantage.....
