i haven't installed anything in my car (planning to wait for the warranty to expire before i do)... so i don't think that's the problem.

man! bakit hindi kasama sa warranty yung sa door lock mechanism?! we had to pay 2,600 ++ sa casa to replace a busted module thingy..dad ko kumausap kaya i dont know the exact thing..

guys question lang, where did you buy your Xtrails? Mantrade ba?

oops.. i forgot all about my reverse sensors.. when we bought the xtrail from the casa, we had them install the sensors. could they have messed up somewhere with the wiring when they installed the sensors?

caloyski, hope you can update us re: the busted module if ever you talk to your dad about it.

iluvdetailing, when we asked for the reverse sensors.. kasama na yung distance indicator.

    1. Wiggle on steering wheel at 100kph to 115kph -- I was very disappointed here. After getting our car, we drove it directly up north via NLEX. Starting at 100kph, the steering wheel wiggles noticeably. Of course it irritates me since this is a brand new car. Above 115kph, the wiggle disappears. Below 100kph, there is no wiggle. I brought it back to the casa to have the wheels balanced. I tested it again at NLEX. This time, the wiggle was a little less, but it was still there. What gives? Could the balancing still be improperly done? Any other source of wiggle problems on a brand new vehicle with less than 200km on the odometer? Another problem is, we have to drive it to NLEX to test it since we need to hit 100kph.
Also noticed this problem tonight nung pauwi me sa Edsa. umabot me ng 100kph then bigla lakas ng wiggle ng steering wheel. tried it again (to reach 100kph) and ayun meron talaga wiggle sa steering. Anyone have solution for this? help naman pls. ano dapat gawin ko.

got my unit at gallery q ave.

    eks883,

we got our unit from nissan quezon ave too.

I haven't done anything yet to fix the problem so far since my last trip to the casa. I'll have it balanced again on my 1k pms. Try to have the casa balance all 4 tires for you. I maintain a 29psi on all 4 tires as per sticker on the door jamb. Try driving it on smooth asphalt roads like nlex, slex, or skyway. This will give you a more accurate feedback on the wiggle. Sometimes, road imperfections, like the terrible EDSA, may mislead you to think that it's a wiggle problem but it's really not.

If they still could not fix it, my plan is to bring it to a reputable tire balancing shop (maybe goodyear servitek) just to have them check if it is indeed perfectly balanced with 0-0 readings. The problem with casa is you don't see how they do the job. At least if you have it done outside, we can see how they actually do it. Although you will have to spend a few hundred bucks for it.

    good luck!

Na-tu-turn-off na ako sa ah xtrail medyo having some second thoughts of buying one already...before na experience ko na rin yang wiggle sa sentra box type ko na 1.3 pero that was at 150kph, not at 100kph
