    [QUOTE=bertoz01;2764483]Hi mga katsikot!!!
Newbie here and we are torn between Mobilio, Ecosport and Ertiga. To those
Mobilio users out there, please give insights on why I should buy the mobilio.
    I`m guided with these preferences:
    1. low FC
    2. M/T or A/T (I`m a manual user)
    3. Parts availability during and after warranty (low maintenance)

    Your inputs highly appreciated.

I suggest you go for the Mobilio, it has the highest HP and torque ratings amongst the three and being a seven seater it has flexible seating and cargo set up. A friend has an Ecosport and it's quite tight and the engine strains at high speed and up hill climbs. The ertiga has bigger dimensions compared to the mobilio but its engine has less than 100 HP.

knowing mobilio na mababa ang ground clearance kailangan talaga medyo maganda undercoat. well its just me. and one more thing yung muffler nya nilagyan ko din ng VHT paint para hindi mabilis kalawangin
Cars manufactured in the mid-nineties and onwards have better rust proofing and painting technologies at the factory so there's no need for additional rust proofing and undercoating. I'll be more worried that non-factory applications might need holes to be made in the body panels which will be the source of rust. And besides rust proofing will only add weight to the car.

Apparently if you want to maximize freebees and discounts, its best to finalize the sale towards the end of the month when the sales people are going after their quota. Let them know also that you are in negotiations also with other dealers of both the same and competing brands.

The Mobilio has been around the Phil. for more than a year now. Being a new Mobilio owner, I'd like to ask other mobilio owners how one year with a mobilio has fared out in terms of cost of ownership (maintenance) and what new owners like me should watch out for. Thanks.

My brother has a Mobilio, during his 1 year PMS, the dealer included a lot of unnecessary stuff. Told him
to have all those removed, I think total bill without those add on is just around 3k.

Sa mga may mobilio po na matagal na sa kanila, 6 months or greater, magkano po inabot ng pinakamahal ninyong PMS? Planning to get the V variant by December sana. Maganda bang kumuha ng December? Hindi kaya mahirap sa stock? Thanks.

Thanks. Toyota service advisers also add a lot of consumables to the PMS so I think its normal for all dealers. Its best to really discuss with the service advisers the details of the PMS and the costs. I've owned automatics (toyotas and nissans) since the early nineties and have had no problems with the A/T trans, this is my first CVT and have no idea as to the durability of the CVT.

It seems that Honda has sorted out the CVT issue. Haven't heard of any problem with the current CVT. The newer CVTs have been out since 2013 in the CR-Z and 2014 in the City and Jazz.

    Hi guys,

I'm also planning to get MOBILIO vs ADVENTURE GLS SUPERSPORT. I know they are not of same type but I considered MOBILIO because it can accommodate up to 7 persons and the availability of the parts of Honda. Mobilio has AIRBAGS too in terms of security. What I like about the Adventure is its fuel type which is DIESEL. I'm also satisfied in using a Mitsubishi since I am already using ADVENTURE GLS SPORT (take note the one I am comparing now is GLS SUPER SPORT) in our province.

Which do you think is better based on the considerations I have mentioned? Let's forget first items 3,4,and 8.. :-D

    1. Be able to ride 5 or 6 persons (including the driver) - is Sedan possible?
    2. I will primarily use it as my ride from home to office (metro manila) - not yet married - but will also be used sometimes for out of town
    3. Less than P900k
    4. Prefer diesel (but you may also suggest cars using gasoline and please tell me why you prefer gas compared to diesel, if ever)
    5. Fuel consumption
    6. Also prefer MT but I don't know if the traffic in Metro Manila (did not experience yet to drive in Metro Manila, I usually drive in our province Bicol) will let me regret for choosing it instead of AT.. :-D
    7. Parts should be available in the market (not only on CASA)
    8. Freebies or discount? :-D

You may check my original thread below:

How about the PMS of the two (2)? Where can I save in the long run considering that MOBILIO is GASOLINE while ADVENTURE is DIESEL? No plan of selling it let's say for 10 years. Is the PMS of DIESEL much more expensive than the gasoline?

    Thank you so much.
