Disclaimer: Long-time Warren Buffet fan. We own BRK shares too. And yes, bias ako sa kanya.
ang mahirap diyan, he can just close his eyes, pick a stock and people will flock to that stock.

people think they can invest like Warren Buffett -- picking value stocks and holding forever

the media portrays Buffett as an old-fashioned frugal old dude who has a knack for picking stocks

    people try to emulate him

what people don't know is Buffett is more than a value stock picker

Berkshire Hathaway is more than a holding company

    Berkshire is a hedge fund

    Berkshire uses leverage

    Berkshire invests in distressed assets

Berkshire is a huge option writing house -- receiving premiums from selling insurance and using the cashflow to invest in other businesses

Buffett bets in derivative, option, and bond markets

the perception that Buffett is a pure stock picker is a myth

he's far more sophisticated than that

hindi kaya gayahin ng retail investors si Buffett

people think if they invest in stocks Buffett invests in they'll replicate Buffett's success

if it was that easy everyone would be a billionaire

Besides, WB takes over the company, then applies everything he's got, connections, and of course, influence.

Those 3 are fairly stable in their respective industries. A better question is who is more profitable or have a more sophisticated growth forecast. What is their P/E rank? That should give you a rough idea.
