    Guys,

Curious question about heat rejection. Say you're stuck in traffic and the sun is bearing down on your driver's window. Is your window hot to the touch, but the space immediately adjacent to it inside the car is cool? Or is your window cool to the touch?

    *imm29,
I would say on my car with 3m cs 5 (super black) on the side windows, it is warm. and the windshield with solargard xg 35 (light black) it is warmer than the side windows.

Thanks! I just noticed that my ride with Llumar super dark reflective tint in the noon-day sun has windows hotter than my other ride with Titanium + 3M super black and dark smoke tint. It's pretty much the same sunny condition while stopped at a traffic light. I'm guessing the double tint neutralized the heat even before it could get to the glass.

Mine is huper optik c30 WS and rear, C15 sa sides. Ok sa heat rejection compare sa 3M. I hope it would last up to 5 years..

On old tint, FX ST, I can feel the heat on my cheeks. On Solargard, only the window is warm. Though I stil find our decade old 3m magic tint having better heat rejection than the solargard.

You mean you have "double tint"? Doesn't it affect your visibility or wala ba syang effect na parang may grado yung glass? Just curious, gusto ko kasing mag-double tint din kasi medyo light yung tint na kukunin kong GS.

    Hi All,

Newbie here. I would like to ask how much is the tint for windshield only? And what brand should I purchase? As my friend told me that magic tint is easy to fade compared to 3M.

    Thanks!
