June 26th, 2013 07:39 AM #157I got my truck yesterday already did 100km on it. Will have my first pms in 6 days. The ride is a bit bumpy compared to our other cars but it is a truck. The ride is solid. You have to watch your speed, it can get fast ( 80kph * 1500 rpm). At first I thought the truck was slow but when you read the odometer it is fast. You can't feel the speed.
*germs color of my truck is gunmetal blue. Cool color, but it looks different when I take a picture in my iPad.
*rac98 don't know how to up load pictures.
*Densker there's many 2.2 available but I got the 4x4 version.

December 3rd, 2013 12:21 AM #158Mga Sir, question lang po sa may mga 4x4 na BT50. Meron din po ba voice control yung mga units ninyo, para sa AC and Radio? And Kailangan ba naka fullstop para mag change from 2H to 4H or 4L, kamusta po yung diff.lock nya, ramdam nyo po ba yung extra traction? I'm planning to get one next week. I've seen the car only in the showroom, and hindi po ako nag request ng testdrive.

It did it again! The dreaded ford ranger/mazda bt50 powertrain alarm!
I went to mazda quezon avenue this morning to get my or/cr. Yup after 4 months na register na nila, bilis ano hahaha! Then on the way home it hit - limp mode, powertrain alarm, traction control and check engine lights ON. So i went back to mazda quezon ave and had the car diagnosed. They don't have any info on this problem nor were they aware of the software upgrade. So i texted the s.a. what i found so far in my research the past couple of months since it first happened.
The symptoms:
1. Limp mode, engine will only rev to 2000 rpm, trany will only shift into 1st and 2nd gear, top speed around 40kph.
2. Powertrain warning lamp and traction control lamps will turn ON.
3. Check engine light may or may not turn ON.
4. Mild to severe shift shock when shifting from PRND. This may or may not be progressive, meaning it may get worse as the problem persists.
Anyway, for those with bt50s and rangers, there are 2 possible issues.
1. CKP sensor loose connection,
2. Reprogram from AB39-12A650-CBE to AB39-12A650-CBF level.
I did not bring it to the casa when it first happened since the problem disappeared after i turned the engine off for several minutes. I was thinking they might not believe me if the warning lights are off and go there the next day (it hapened at night so the casa was close). But thus time i did not turn the engine off and went straight to the casa. They're diagnosing the problem. Hopefully they have/get the software update from mazda japan.
