hehe, andito ka din. Wala nga yata sir, sealed tranny. Parang may nabasa pa ako na walang palitan ang atf unless i-open siya.

2nd turbocharger replacement in 10 months! Yehey! The way this is going they will be replacing the turbo 8 times before the warranty is over!

Brought the pick up last friday for diagnosis, they replaced the turbo last wednesday, i got it back friday after a long test drive. They asked if i cool down the turbo and i said yes, at least 2 minutes before shutting it off. Now they said cool it down at least 10 minutes and we'll see if it happens again. Yeah, 10 minutes of idling and wasting fuel! Oh well!

Yehey! Powertrain alarm na ulit 2 days pa lang napalitan ng turbo! Galing ako naia sinundo ko sister ko. Pag dating namin sa edsa from slex biglang may sound na parang singaw, "pfffffft!!!" na malakas. Then parang nabutas na yung hose kasi may parang pumutok na yun bang sound ng plastic bag na pinaputok saka biglang bagal ng takbo at mausok na. Pinilit ko pa din itakbo kasi alam ko blown turbo hose lang naman yun (sana). Inilampas ko lang sa makati at mandaluyong at delikado sa mga brown boys. Pag dating sa harap ng camp aguinaldo stop ako, check baka kaya ko gawin. Kaso di ko makita saan yung blown hose. Limp mode hangang sa bahay!

Balik casa na naman ito bukas. Nakakahiya sa edsa, smoke belcher! Nanliliit ako, iniisip ko baka may makakitang taga-Tsikot ma-video pa ako at magtrending!

Nyahahahaha! Tawa na lang. Bwiset!

Update ko lang. I got the truck back december 29. it was the turbo hose between the turbo and intercooler that got loose. Baka daw hindi nahigpitan ng todo. They replaced the clamp.

I did not have any chance of a long test drive since madami kami lakad, mostly using the sorento and starex. But checking on the odo mazda q.ave did a long one of almost 200 km. I did told them "ubusin nyo na ang laman ng tanke mag-test drive para sigurado", and they almost did finish my 3/4 tank of diesel, 1/4 na lang natira e. That, or somebody decided to spend the holidays with my truck

Sabi ko sa service advisor ko, ibibirit ko to pag uwi ko next time, pedal to the metal na test drive. Ok lang daw papalitan daw nila ulit ng turbo pag masira ulit.

Hehe, kumpiyansa pa casa na papalitan kapag nasira ulit turbo ha. I hope Mazda can design a Skyactiv-D for the ranger para yun na lang ipalit sa makina nang Ford.

found these in the internet. even for those with no turbo problems do take note of the bulletin regarding maximum time for draining the lube oil.

Actually papasok na ko ng nlex mindanao avenue toll gate when it happened so napostponed yung trip ko. I used my 4x2 sorento instead the next day. As long as summer naman kayang-kaya naman ng sorento yung dirt road to my farm. Huwag lang mataon na rainy season at 4x4 talaga need ko dun.

Strike 4! Turbo hose ulit but I am definitely counting it as a repair of the same nature as the damahed turbo.

Lintek na lemon law strike 5 ang required.

Had the 18 months/30000km pm done today at odo reading of 11130km. Di lang naman pala bt50 ko ang nagkasira ng turbo, madami daw kami. Stand out lang sa akin dahil naka-3 na hehehehe!

I remember someone ask before kung may auto-lock function. I decided to fiddle around with the manual again. Meron nga, although even the people at the casa say there is none. Switch ignition to engine ON, press door lock switch 3 times (make sure the lock activates each time), ignition switch OFF, press door lock 3 times, engine ON. Then engine OFF. There will be a confirmation chirp of the horn. You are now in "driver mode". Turn ignition to engine ON, press door lock 2 times, ignition OFF. Door locks are now set to lock at 10kph.

Strike 4 pa lang kung counted yung turbo hose. May print out ako ng record ng mga repairs.
