Defogger is those orange lines on the back window. They are meant to heat up when you run some power into it. When they heat up, any fogging up on the window evaporates.

regarding tint, actually gusto kong gawing all Vkool or Solarguard ung ride ko. Pag, Vkool clear gagawin ko, if Solarguard, all Medium cguro tapos papa-one piece ko ung windshield and rear windows. kaso ung defogger, as GH defined, is usually nada-damage if papalitan ung rear window tint.

mas maganda ung mudguard kunin mong free kesa sa tint, that is if wala kang balak magskirts soon.

as for the discounts, ung barkada ko, kumuha sa Honda ng City, cash payment cia, 25K lang discount, tapos lahat bayad ren ng cia TPL/Compre etc..

Question, meron bang nabibiling pwede ilagay sa N16 para nde madaling dumumi ung under the hood? ngaung laging weird ung weather, init-ulan, init-ulan, daming alikabok kahit one week of use lang..

any ideas on this? TIA!

meron yan. most probably order basis. hood pad ata tawag. sa casa ata meron din.

Ako sir! Nightmare ko to dati..Mine was GX 06. As in the first day na pagkakakuha ng unit napansin ko agad yung kalansing sound sa harap tsaka yung Tok sound pag may mga maliliit na potholes. Gusto ko na nga isoli auto ko dati e kasi nawalan na ako ng gana dati kasi ang ginagawa nila is nilalagyan lang ng lubricant yung caliper/bolt ata un tapos nawawala naman siya, kaya lang after few weeks or months bumamalik yung sakit niya. Pero may isang mechanic dun na nakaayos,so far up to now di na siya bumalik..Sabi nila naging issue daw yun ng n16 model 04 to 05, pero na resolve na daw. Not sure kung yung ibang n16 tsikoteers na kakabili lang ng sentra recently is nakaka-experience ng ganito. Nagka issue yung sentra dahil sa acquisition with Yulon..Pumangit quality ng underchassis nila dahil dun. Yung akin 3 times na ata napalitan ng Wheel bearings..

2 relatives own n16 Gen2. one is an 04 GS, 2nd is 06 GSX. i have an 08 GX. didn't experience these issues. kahit ung kanila. first and only time i heard the "Tok" was when i used to steer too hard. pag sagad na, i hear the Tok. took it back sa CASA nung 1K PMS, then never heard it again. first birthday ng car ko kahapon.. very happy with it! just finished my 10K PMS.. sarap ng hinga ng makina ulet!

helo po..i also owned a n16 GX manual tranny 2008...ang problem ko lang ai ung matting koz free kc un sa casa, eh ang pangit minsan nakakasagabal sa paa mo, madali kc xa matatanggal ano kaya mas maganda na matting for our N16?

ung aken na freebie lang ren is dumudulas sa driver's side pero ung sa likod and passenger's side oks pa.

i'll be investing on Nomads next month siguro. Premium Nomads(ung may rubber sa gitna) costs P4,500 sa ACE hardware though may sale ngaun kaya P4,100 (CMIIW) na lang. 5 pieces na to. Regular Nomads cost mga 3500. i'm also thinking of getting ung 2 piece lang para tipid.. meron mga nagsasabing ung mga Nomad imitation is not that bad na ren. mga 1-1.5K ang price sa banawe.

i had the same problem in my 05 unit but since it had a 3 year warranty hindi ko tiniggilan ang nissan quezon ave until they fixed it perfectly. im happy with this vehicle after 65000kms of trouble free driving. my a/t consumption is 8 kms per liter within metro manila. its not a head turner nor is it an ugly duckling. the aircon is still super cool. apart from that little caliper problem, the suspension is still almost as good as the day i got it. the only "modification" i did was to replace the horns with fiamms in 05. they are a superbly loud and durable pair.

this is definitely a good car.

reason i asked about the 1k, or first PMS is that mine was not as quiet before my 1st PMS. after 5K PMS, tahimik na talaga cia even with radio off.

hope you can have your CASA have that checked unless you really prefer the diesel engine sound.

i agree! sobrang tahimik ng makina! mine has clocked nearly 70k and it is still absolutely quiet
