If you can get someone to buy for you in the US, I think the OEM 3rd brake light of the Chevy Colorado will fit the D-Max, same lang naman kaha nila:

*st_omach: You could buy all of those in Carryboy in Banawe and it's way cheaper as compared to your dealer. You could also try Goldcars, Goldrich, Ride or Miggyboy. I am not sure if they will allow you to buy it from them and have it installed in your dealer since it would void the warranty. I remembered it when this guy wanted to buy stepboard and wanted to bring it to the province and have it installed there. They're saying that it would void the warranty and if something happens with the product, they couldn't be held liable since it wasn't them who installed it. I just overheard it though, better confirm it with them. Besides, it's better if you have them installed there since it would be cheaper. I bought my truck stepboard, spray-on bedliner, roller lid and taillight chrome and all those were installed by them, so far they're ok. If you wanna put stepboard, double check if it's really durable. How to check it? After they've installed it, don't be afraid to step on it and jump like you're jumping on the ground. If something snaps, get their attention immediately since that means something is not that tight yet.

For the color, mine is tornade red. At first my choice was black then the grey. However, I wanted to be different since everytime I see a Dmax, it's either black or grey. I didn't regret with my decision in going with the red and I always fall in love everytime I look at my truck. As for you, it depends on what suits your taste. You will be with your vehicle for as long as you wanna keep it so for sure you don't want everytime you see your it you're regretting that you got chose that color. White looks good too. There is a white 08 Dmax LS in our subdivision and it looks good.

    Good luck in your decision!

For the record, I have my fuel filter replaced every change oil knowing how dirty our diesel is here. It is quite normal that I find sludge, dirt in the can yet my engine runs fine.

    Hey Memphis,

The engine hiccups, meaning it hesitates for an instant and then continues to accelerate. When the fuel filters were replaced, the hiccups even worsened- now the hiccups start at about 1.25K. That's when the technical guy from Cebu came in and found nothing wrong with the electronic system. I'll be calling him today for advice from the main office in Cebu.

By the way, for the record, I do my PMS very religiously--and only at casas. Either at the local dealer here in Dumaguete or at Mandaue Cebu. As changing fuel filters are part of regular PMSs, I presumed 'they' changed it regularly (every 10K per our manual).

I suggested bringing down the entire fuel tank and draining it. I'll see if the casa concurs...

    Arigato!

Just keep on asking, sir, and for sure if anyone knows the answer, they will reply.

If I am not mistaken, the Global Dmax was released around July last year and yes, that is the one in the market right now.

Yes, ang ganda ng araw ko ngayon. After 2 weeks of inquiring sa mga casa at mga banks and thinking and planning i think im off na to buy myself an Isuzu DMax.

Guys imagine naka discount ako ng whopping 50K! Yes 50K! At meron pang freebies: Additional Rustproofing, floor matting, seat cover, tools, tint, plate number case.

How did i manage to do that? Tiyagaan lang: 1.) Nag-inquire ako sa ibat ibang casa. 2.)

I found out na ganito: Kapag Toyota mas maganda na ang bangko mo ay Metrobank. Kapag Isuzu Cavite, Alabang, Cebu or Mandaue mas maganda na ang bangko mo ay PS Bank or BPI kc puro hawak kc yan ng Ayala. And isa pang dahilan luck is on my side talaga, a friend of mine was a friend of the lot that was rented by Isuzu Cavite. So i was referred to the Sales Manager pero cyempre my sales agent pa rin.

Anyway ayoko na i detalye....plus my kids are begging me ryt now matutulog \na daw kc......sa mga tga Cavite or nearby places na gusto bumile DMax PM nyo na lang ako...i can help you to get the best discount etc. bwiset na mga kasama sa bahay to. Sarap sarap mag post at in da mood pa naman ako ryt now!.....

My car loan was approved by PS Bank today..salamat sa inyong laaht sa maga tips......God Bless this thread and us all!!!

Congratulations, sir! I guess we're looking on the new owner of Dmax soon.

Looking at the discount that you got, I think that's really a steal. I am not sure on the LX though, but a 50k discount!?! That's really wow! For your freebies, the tools, floor mats, seat cover, & tint, those are really the basic freebies that they give so in reality, the freebies that you got are rustproof and plate number case. It's just like mine but mine is rain gutter and Automobilkote rust proof. My discount was 40k since my agent added 5k more on top of the 35k knockdown promo.

When will you get your vehicle and what color did you choose? I don't want to tell you to post pictures since me myself haven't posted yet.hehe Once I really have the time and studied how to post pics here, I will.

I informed my SA, sabi nya he will check with their units sa showroom. And after checking, sabi nya ganun din yung Dmax nila sa showroom.
By the way, dito ako sa Cebu. My unit is Tornedo red LS

*romel.krypton: From Luzon here, QC. Our trucks are the same, sir, I guess we've the same taste.hehe Back to your question, mine only has one cover too. On both front seats, only the screws near the center have covers. At first I don't have any idea what you were talking about since I haven't really noticed that, but after awhile, I found it.
