the workplace purchased new-brand so-called 2.5 hp window aircon, to replace our old brand-name 2.5 hp aircon.
our findings: "my old branded 1.5 hp aircon is colder than that!"

Older air conditioners (be it for home or vehicle use) will be colder since they use old refrigerants ... Try getting in a vehicle that still uses R12 Freon ...

Value of inverter appliances is really to bring down electricity bills. A couple of years ago, I junked my old White Westinghouse ref (which never quit on me in its 20 years service, rusted body & all) because it wasn’t energy efficient at all. I bought an LG Inverter Ref with a stainless steel body. It was a lot more energy efficient.

my point was,
the new-brand aircon did not live up to its supposed cooling ability.
our lesson learned was, "new-brand aircons are a gamble".

Well, gambles aren't restricted to new brands, good doc. Tried the reintroduced Fedders! Total FAIL!!! *#$^^&*₩¥£€...Nevah again!!!![emoji35]

new gree kx series looks good. its inverters can go as low as 260w(1hp)

even their 2hp can go as low as 450W.

The newer TCL can go as low as 200w.


sold out ang gree 1hp... their reputation is quite good over at lazada
