Don't forget the 1-hour Prince of Persia!![]()
Played that as well. Along with Flight Simulator 1, Jet, Strike Commander, Falcon 3.0, EF-2000, TFX... at least the ones I remembered. I still have the old CH Products Flightstick in storage.
Fun as they were, these things gave me bad grades in high school and college. :D
galing! ito nga yun! haha! not sure though kung Iraq yung nasa map. pero Middle East yun for sure (more like Libya ata).
Some more games i could recall are :
1. load runner
2. millionware or is it millionaire (trivia game siya)
3. sputnik attack
4. maniac mansion
Some apps that i remember using
1. lotus 123
2. wordstar
3. printshop
Mom also played Load Runner! Lolz! Maybe I inherited her gaming genes. We also used to print banners using BannerMania and Broderbund Print Shop Deluxe.
first gaming console ko yung nintendo family computer, tapos first pc is yung intel 486/windows 3.1. heheheh
The first game I had to upgrade my PC for was Mechwarrior. It required EGA or VGA display to see the graphics well. Interestingly I was able to setup a twin display system using both the old and new video cards I got.
The first pc game I bought with my own money. 16 colors and Tandy sound on my Tandy 1000SX.
Sierra's Gold Rush!

I remember Sublogic (not MS yet) Flight Simulator 2, Bruce Artwick's(maker of FS) Jet!, Star Flight, the original Spectrum Holobyte Falcon (cga and Tandy graphics)
Wow, MechWarrior. I used to play a demo of MechWarrior II on our Pentium MMX 200MHz, our second computer. It ran quite well on that system with only 16MB RAM and 1MB S3 Trio3D video card. It also had a QuickShot joystick, but I never got it to work with MechWarrior II. What a bummer.

Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
pwede bang palitan video graphics ng laptop?i hav my sony vaio,i bought it in US 1 yr ago,i want 2 change the video card(for games purposes)
nag asked na ako ng advice from sony, hindi daw nila papalitan for some reason,
Reason 1: di daw binili satin sa pinas ang laptop
Reason 2: wala silang unit na ganito dito sa pinas
nextime pag bumalik ng US HP nalang bibilhin ko,mura lang kasi dun,1000$ lang yung 4GHz,300Gb,higher version of nvidia g-force pero dito sa pinas almost 80k above pa...
A 386DX with my favorite all time game,- LodeRunner......Pang-competition......

This is the Tandy 1000SX which was my first "IBM-compatible". Mine was virtually identical to this one:
http://www.cryan.com/pdf/Tandy1000.pdf
Specs (mine):
CPU: Intel 7.16Mhz 8088
RAM: 640k
Video: 16-color Tandy Graphics, 4-color CGA, monochrome
Sound: 3-channel Tandy audio
Storage: 2 x 360k 5 1/4" floppy drives, 20mb hard RLL hard drive card (ISA)
Ports: Joystick, printer, keyboard, light pen
OS: MS-DOS 3.2 and GW-BASIC
Besides MS-DOS, it had the Deskmate software:

I got mine as a "bargain" for $1000 plus $500 for the 20mb hard drive
It was ok. At the time, many games supported Tandy Graphics:
Microprose F-19 Stealth Fighter
Lucasarts Battlehawks 1942
Lucasarts Their Finest Hour
Sierra's Gold Rush, Black Cauldron, and Kings Quest
Origin's Ultima IV
