For my PC, it used to be the floppy drive. It was ten years old and still working but by last year, it won't read anymore.

Ung PC mismo din sa akin. Bought it in 2001, still going strong. AMD Duron 750 Mhz pa, hehehe.

But I bought a 17" monitor, additional 128 MB SDRAM and 32 MB video card, mainly for gaming purposes then. Pero Obsolete na ngayon.

The Hauppage tv tuner in my wife's pc dates back from 1998.

The Packard Bell 17" crt monitor with my nephew's pc dates back from late 1995. It's the original/first 17" crt monitor by PB and featured a very nice crt used by more expensiver brands. It's only drawback was a refresh rate of 75hz at 1024x768 which is also its max res.

Ghost, ayus yung floppies mo bro! I removed my floppies in 2001 or 2002 pa ata since i got those portable 200MB drives (name escapes me at the moment)

sorry, i totally forgot the hdd. sama niyo na lang sa memory yung vote (lame excuse hehe). Wala kasing edit poll option ako makita.

ineedmorehelp, hahaha!!! I think im gonna take the 45.1's to the grave. pero no kidding, ang ganda pa rin ng tunog after all these years. good enough for me not to upgrade my speakers.... although i added a pair of smaller altec lansings para quadrophonic.

Hmmm. I think there's a similar thread to this somewhere.......

I also have a MS Sidewinder 3D Pro joystick (1995) and a MS Sidewinder Gamepad (1996). Both still work beautifully after all these years.

Oldest part in my PC is the internal modem (1997). Although I don't use it anymore, I just keep it plugged just in case

My Altec Lansing AVS500 4.1 speakers is also quite old. Bought it second hand I think around 2000.

Btw, poll edited to include hard disk and modem.

I remembered I have a Seagate 1.2Gig HDD ST51270A in my desk drawer.
Warranty sticker says it expires on 7/30/96

It still works but kinda pointless to use it anymore. Even my usb thumbdrive has more capacity than this drive.

Iomega Zip drive? I used to use these a lot but the technology has been overtaken by CD recordable technology as well as USB thumbdrives.

Floppy drive. Came from a Packard Bell P100 system sent to my grandma by one of her Stateside cousins. That thing is from circa 1995. The PB, incidentally, is still alive - running Smoothwall Express 2.0.
