Well, if there's any good that came out of the exploding Note 7 fiasco, it seems that 90% of owneers opted for replacement, not refund. The force is still strong among the Samsung users.
Finally received the N7 replacement over the weekend. The battery icon shown at the top of the screen is green to indicate the upgrade and charge can reach 100%. So far no noticeable difference from the previous unit.

This is more bad news for Samsung.
Samsung's woes continue as another Galaxy S7 edge catches fire - GSMArena blog
Samsung planning to remove headphone jack in the future. 1st they've tried removing SD card slot which frustrate some users, then the explosing note 7 which I'm sure they lost some customers. now removing headphone jack which will turn away some consumers.

S7edge is nice. but not as good as I expected. Switching between apps is not as fast. And with multiple tabs on chrome, it is slowing it down. I sense some lag. When Im driving at 120kph, I want that zero lag.
Coming from the note3 its just not as fast as I want it to be.
I think the mate8 has less lag.
Anyways impressive screen and speaker&mic and bt connectivity.
Glass is less prone to smidges.
7 out of 10

Pwede! Pareserve na ako nyan!
Still think I'll get the S7 when my S5 conks out. Z5 is too blocky in the hand. I don't mind the 1K resolution but the 3Gb ram killed it for me. Note 7 woes are also making the price of the S7 really attractive.

You think the 4K screen has something to do wih the lag?
Nakuw delikado yan bro, 120kph while using the phone.
Mate 8 less lag pa? Eh sa mga reviews pangit daw software niya. Kaya nga yung P9 plus binili ko.
Sony medyo bulky nga pero maganda performance as far as my experience goes and matibay pa. Not sure with the latest models though. No Z5 Premium dual nung naghahanap ako eh. I need that dual sim feature.
been using my S7 edge since March and i have the same observation. i experienced unresponsive or frozen screen few times as well and need to reboot or restart. it does not happen often but just in case, press the power button and volume down key simultaneously for few seconds will reboot it.
Baka nga dahil sa 4k. Good one bro. Its not that bad. I dont see any better alternative hence this phone.

Bro the freeways here are 20-200km long. Nakaka antok minsan pag maneho lng. Safe naman kung kabisado and naka cruise control.
Ok ang reviews ng mate8. Naka promo yan 14k lng. Ayus sana... i think huawei is catching up to samsung. If they sell 3600mah and above phones that are waterproof. Siguro pwede na.

Thanks for the tip. Really enjoying the battery life and the auto brightness.

The Z5 is just the right size for me, its just that the flat back with raised edges don't fit naturally in my hands. I like the frosted glass back though. Pareho tayo, need ko din dual sim. That puts the iphone out. Plus you know, no incognito mode for research purposes.
Good to hear only minor issues bro. Hopefully they address it in the next software update.
I don't know if this has been posted before, but does anyone see the irony of people with Note 7's catching fire trying to put them out by pouring water on them? It's also ip68 isn't it?![]()
Google just launched Pixel and Pixel XL. looks like an iPhone, priced like an iPhone.
