Yes I know bro. I have an S7 (gave it to my brother). 64GB is more than enough for me. My Note 4 only has 32 GB internal memory and a 32GB SD, which is more than enough. I even survive with a 16GB iPhone.

Important for me yung dual-sim because nahahassle na ko magdala ng 2 phones.

samsung a9 pro bro. dual sim plus dedicated micro sdcard slot. so 3 card slot lahat. its a midrange phone with 5000mah battery and 6 inch display. downside lang medyo mabigat and so-so camera. available na sa samsung store at 26k.

If I were to get a new phone but won't shell out over 30K for the top spec model, I'd rather get last year's flagship. Kadalasan kasi, most midrange phones swerte ka na ma update sa new version once.

Yung previous phone ko Xperia ZR, launched with 4.1 Jellybean, last update niya 5.1 Lollipop (nadaanan niya 4.2, 4.3, 4.4) since it shares the same internals as the bigger flagship Z. Plus Xperias are still the most stable Android phones with just 0.08% crash rate kaya siguro mas mabagal sila mag release ng update.

Anyway, nasa brand din ang software support din, at least ang Samsung ngayon nag iimprove na with the entry level J series getting Marshmallow. Recently lang, Huawei promised 24 month software support sa phones nila. Not sure kung buong lineup na yun.

No edge, no S-Note, too big. Also, doesn't seem to come with any of the Globe plans. I'll be recontracting with Globe, plan 999 (5GB internet, unli to globe) plus 950/month cashout lang so basically 1,850 per month.

These days it's either lug 2 phones or a dual SIM phone and a power bank ... unless you have access to charger most of the day ...

I have a car charger so I don't usually use my powerbank. Except when playing Pokemon Go which is such a huge battery drain.

I see. I'm too poor to buy a brand new phone at SRP. Will have to wait for Globe. 😂

That's 3.2k/mo, 3x steeper than the 950/month with Globe. Total cash outlay of 23k is also less than 2/3 of the 39k SRP. This is why I always get my phones from Globe. [emoji28]

Yep. Wise move. Mas mura talaga total cost. Kung hindi ka naman kukuha ng note 7, may rebate ka na 300 per month. So 300x24 = 7,200 + 22,800. So total of 30k worth ng note 7 sa plan 999. Hulugan pa

As of today..... Still a flip-up Samsung and a tablet.

I normally carry a tiny backpack (backsack?) with me. So, device size isn't a problem. I get 10+ hours with the iPad Mini 2. It's enough for all-day use. The phone I don't even touch unless I have a call. I make less than 1 call per day.

I do watch a lot of videos when I'm waiting somewhere away from home. These are enough for me.

With a good WiFi signal, I can watch my cable channels.

My current plan is a promo plan 499 - 3GB internet plus unli call and text. This is equivalent to plan 999. Less the 300 rebate bec I'm not locked in with a phone, a similar setup would be plan 699 for others.

However, the good thing about getting a Note 7 with plan 999 is that your data is upgraded to 5GB instead of the usual 3GB. That alone is enough for me to upgrade because I'm finding it hard to make ends meet with just 3GB.

If I didn't get a Note 7, I could only get 5GB data by going with plan 1499. So the Plan 999 + Note 7 is really a great deal for me. [emoji4]

    1499 (minus 400 rebate) x 24 = 26k
    1949 x 24 = 46k

So effectively, the incremental I'll be paying for to get a Note 7 is just 20k. Since the Note 7 is a dual-sim, I can get rid of both my iPhone 6 and Note 4, which I can sell for about 28-30k combined, so I actually made money by upgrading. [emoji23]

SME / Business plans usually have better offers, it easy as long as you have a business permit or know someone who has one ...

Cant wait for the availability of the Note 7 to stabilize. Will get one then for now using a Note 5 and iphone 6+ combo. Will eventually just use 1 phone.

Why did you keep the 2-phone setup when you got your Note 5? Not happy with an Android-only setup at the time? [emoji4]
