NBA Live 08 - so so
COH:OF - DA BOMB!!! a must play!
WIC - Di ko pa natry but will do over the christmas vacation
world in conflict. hirap lang nung camera view, unlike in generals or in other stategy games where you can move tru the battlefield with just the mouse, dito you have to use the wasd keys to move, anyway still familiarizing myself with the controls overall, graphics and gameplay is good
Company of Heroes
Comand & Conquer 3:Tiberium Wars
Company of Heroes - Opposing Fronts
After ng Opposing Fronts nde na ako nakalaro sa PC, nakabili kse ako PSP hehehe
i am currently playing call of duty 4: modern warfare. 1 player mode is really short. it was really meant for online gaming. so far, i've heard about halo 3 players switching to cod4. i also have assassin's creed. this game is addictive that i have lost a lot of sleep playing it
.
Hmmm. I didn't realize Crysis is made by the same folks who made Far Cry. I loved Far Cry and still play it. Looks like I'll have to replace my old X800XL video card a bit earlier (as soon as I get back).
out na ba yung Call Of DUty: Modern Warfare? Alam ko demo pa lang...
Just wondering, kaya ba C&C 3 sa onboard video card ng Dell Latitude D630 (256MB Internal GMA X3100 Chipset).... naghahanap lang ng multiplayer :P
I was checking for games playable on my laptop and I decided to check yours as well. Results? Forget about C&C 3.
WoW should be playable at medium settings if you play that online.
Me, I'm fine with old singleplayer games. Close Combat 2, Blitzkrieg, Vampire: The Masquerade, various DOSBox and ScummVM games, flight sims, and my favorite, BF1942/Desert Combat which runs very fluidly on my lappy:

To n2knee: I'm planning to get Call of Duty 4-Modern Warfare for my kid. You mentioned that 1 player mode is short. How short is short? How many chapters are there for the single player? TIA![]()
naglalaway ako sa Crysis and Hellgate: London... bad trip di kaya ng lappy ko yung games na yun. how's NFS Prostreet btw?
its been a while since i seriously played any pc game pero mukhang ok yun nilalaro ng brother ko ngayon...
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
he's playing online at local "underground" servers.
Since i started during the time na simula pa lang si Bill Gates
Prince of Persia ( Green monitor)
Lemmings 1 (VGA monochrome)
Tetris
Kings Quest 4 CGA
Loom
Secret of Monkey Island (Funny)
Where in the world is Carmen San Diego?
Myst VGA colored na
Comanche
Half Life 1&2
Starcraft 1
Tiberium Wars
Grim Fandango (Di pa tapos)
Company of Heroes
I miss the old games
Here are some things I found out trying to run games with the ATI Mobility X1200....... again, an Intel X3100 should do better
Using FRAPS to non-scientifically gauge framerate.....
24 fps would be fluid for any game. But, 15fps or better I consider playable for an RTS.
C&C: Generals - 800x600, medium detail, I get a consistent 15-20 fps
Battlefield 2 - 800x600, medium detail, I get a consistent 15 fps.
For a shooter, 15 fps is.....meh.
Battlefield 1942/Desert Combat - 800x600 32bpp, max detail, 23-24 fps
Rome: Total War - 800x600 16bpp, "Speed" setting, 18-20 fps
Older 2d games like Red Alert 2, Close Combat 2, and Civilization 3 all play smoothly. Close Combat 2 (A Bridge Too Far) I consider the best of the series. It came out in 1997 and I still play it.
Some things to consider:
1. All these games I play for singleplayer only.
2. I didn't really buy my laptop for games. So, playing older games are perfectly fine.

Oh yeah. I still play Quake 2 up to now too.Runs beautifully on my lappy.
I have more older games at home like Dungeon Keeper 2, Warcraft 3, and Homeworld 1. But, I'll have to wait til I get back to try them out.
Woo hoo thanks.
I got Rome Total War but a bit complex just to get to the action hehe... I'll stick to Rise of Nations...
But C&C and Battlefield, here I come hehe
