i have the other s3...what are you looking for? if for fitness, the hr monitor is not continous 24hr like the fitbit...for my needs...sablay

a friend has a garmin and a fitbit, app wise, fitbit wins hands down...i have a fitbit blaze that i gave to my wife, if fitness is your main concern...better ang hr ng fitbit...s3 kasi once the novelty of the screen is gone...useless na sya..

why dont they just cram everything in one watchlaging incremental upgrades, if the s3 has a camera for video calls and non stop hr monitor plus scratchproof bezel...it would be perfect..

I agree. But then .... no one would upgrade. Planned obsolesence for us mindless lemmings.
Unlike classic mechanical watches, these digital watches depend on a roadmap of feature upgrades to entice people to purchase again. I have no doubt they have the tech to do it but then again, they'd rather have us make multiple purchases over our customer lifetime.

My favorite watch .... my idol even though he is incapacitated sadly.
Here is my modest collection. I lost a few along the way (a Cartier Santos when i left it on the roof of my car when i was playing basketball and forgot about it....)
I dont have a winder hence the timw has stopped on the watches hehe.

One thing I noticed as I was lurking through PWC - people there are generally more respectful and well-mannered towards other forumers.
Even if you take out our pet trolls, Tsikot still has a lot of brash personalities who seemingly get triggered at the slightest provcation, especially when it comes to snide remarks to their cars.
I guess cars draw in a broader crowd than watches. Even if watches are cheaper, it's not usually something the average Juan spends on. Unlike cars, which are practically shoved down the throat of anyone who can cough up enough cash for the DP (to hell with the monthlies).

for one thing, a watch that runs faster than the others, isn't something to be proud about.
also, with the exception of the strap/bracelet, there's little else the owner can do to accessorize it, without depreciating its market value.
then, it takes a special talent to open its engine bay and tinker with the engine.
I'll post a shot this weekend.
Also, it's nice to take shots of a watch in the morning when there's the soft, angled sunlight.
The watch crowd is still pretty limited as compared to the car crowd; and the cost of building a watch collection if you bought everything you want, can cost more than cars too.One thing i found common in watches and cars, it's the thrill of the chase - the search for a grail watch, or a just about any particular model that you want.
+1 on the thrill of the chase/hunt. Makes me feel like those guys in Storage Wars or American Pickers hehe. There's always an opportunity to get good value buying pre-owned. Speaking of value, not exactly used but I could've acquired a NOS Watchco SM300 for $1800 a few years ago. Am now regretting not having bought it.
