What brand of watch do you wear? [Merged]

2 of my watches are not going to have any wrist time coz I had them serviced.

I brought my Tag to Watchworks coz the 2nd hand started to skip up to the point that it stopped. They said that they have to clean, replace a lot of stuff inside. But it will take 4 to 6 months for the parts to arrive. Ang tagal! It will cost me 7k for the service.

Next is my Seiko Kinetic. But that would only take a week. I had it serviced last Jan and suddenly it stopped working. They said water seeped inside. I don't know how it happened.

Sana wag masira ung iba kong relo.

Believe ako sa Seiko, it has been with me for 15 yrs, this yr lang ata napalitan ung mga parts listed on the receipt.

Ung Tag naman 8 yrs na sa akin, 1st time I will have it serviced like that.

Parang naisahan ka ng watchworks. A skipping second hand is only a sign of a weak battery...New battery lang katapat nyan..

*granro01: The battery didn't even last 10 months so no, it was not battery. Plus I had the rubbers on the casing replaced since they have already melted.

My daily mechanical beaters are the Oris Aquis if I want to wear a stainless steel bracelet and the Hamilton Viewmatic if I want to wear leather.

Speaking of Philip Stein...



My only watch that has a scratched crystal is this one which I've had since 2010. I did get a new strap recently, navy blue lizard leather strap that is real stiff right now. This watch doesn't get a lot of wrist time.

It's a Pebble watch (smart watch). Connected via Bluetooth to my Android phone. You can get notifications (email, sports scores, SMS etcetera). Watch Apps can be installed to do simple tasks eg. Phone dialer, change profile, ping your phone, check weather etc. What I like about it most is that it's water resistant so I can control my music anytime..even in the shower.
