I noticed na big yun difference in cost ng automatic watches compares sa battery operated (i.e. tag, oris)... why? Feeling ko kse kahit 10x ako magpalit ng battery, mas cheaper pa din compared to maintenance free na automatic watches... di ba?

Same here. My everyday watch is a Casio Illuminator whose battery supposedly lasts 10 years. Syempre hindi ako naniniwala, kasi 2 years pa lang medyo bumabagal na sya (synchronized lahat ng relos sa bahay kaya alam ko kung kailangan magpalit ng battery). I attribute the short battery life to the fact that I use the watch's timer feature several times a day whenever I cool down the turbo for my diesel van

ako din gusto ko yan saka yun kay brad pitt... pero sobra mahal! nasa 70-80k na! sabi ng friend ko makuha ko daw yan ng mga 50k dun sa glorieta na store of 2nd hand swiss watches...
