Renz, punta ka control panel tapos click mo yun system, then create partitions ek ek. Mag-rurun yun disk management program. Tapos from there pwede mo i-format yun flash drive mo. After mo format tapos may gusto kang i-retrieve na files, eh gamitan mo nalang ng file recovery program.

IMO you can take out the USB stick anytime as long as there is no ongoing activity between the PC and the USB stik

its because in windows, the disk is not used, unless there are open files.
in android, it is always being accessed as a secondary storage device.

I have an 8gb USB which works perfectly fine until earlier. Here's what happened...

    1. I used a USB connector to connect it to my galaxy tab earlier to transfer movies, it worked fine. I accidentally pulled it out without safely removing the device. Next time I plugged it in, it shows "high power USB device connected" then it wont read my USB at all.

    2. I plugged it in on my PC, it wont read my USB too! I tried uninstalling the driver for the USB and reinstalling it again but it didn't solve the problem. It appears on my computer as removable disk j: but it when i click it, it shows "please insert disk..."

What can I do now? I have important files on my flash drive so I can't reformat it. Are there any other ways to retrieve back my files? Or at least let my usb work again?

    Thanks!
    Try this:

    Click start

    Type CMD

Type mo kung nasaan drive yung usb mo ( ex. G: )

    ATTRIB -S -H *.* /S /D
