I recently won a Samsung 40" UHD SmartTV (so I really didn't have a choice) which we're using in our bedroom.

The sources includes a Roku 3 (HDMI), an ABS-CBN STB (Composite A/V), and of course, the SmartTV apps. I was able to watch 4k videos from the SmartTV's Youtube app. I had to wait for it to buffer because of our 3rd world bandwidth, though. Then again, it's not useless. SD, HD and FHD sources are still perfectly watchable. Though, you may need to play around with the TV's advanced picture settings like noise reduction and such to get the best pircture. Configured the wrong way, you may see a lot more artifacts from upscaled sources.

Kung me high end Pc ka sir with high reso video card, ikabit mo yan Tv mo using hdmi.
Malaking factor yun viewing distance mo.

The next digicam I buy, I'll seriously consider one with 4k video recording capability. It will be worth it to shoot 4k memories already
