Hindi mo pa ma eenjoy at mukang 5 to 10years pa natin yan ma eexperience..
    .

Now i'm talking to my lawyer, planning to sue them.

Sana yung 70" full hd na lang binili ko at the almost same price

There are consumer and prosumer cameras including smartphones that can already take 4k videos. And if you have the bandwidth, you can watch select 4k movies from Netflix. So I wouldn't say that 4k displays are useless. It's probably just a matter of future-proofing.

Based on the chart, the sweet spot for you is around 7-8 feet from your UHD TV.

I recently won a Samsung 40" UHD SmartTV (so I really didn't have a choice) which we're using in our bedroom.

The sources includes a Roku 3 (HDMI), an ABS-CBN STB (Composite A/V), and of course, the SmartTV apps. I was able to watch 4k videos from the SmartTV's Youtube app. I had to wait for it to buffer because of our 3rd world bandwidth, though. Then again, it's not useless. SD, HD and FHD sources are still perfectly watchable. Though, you may need to play around with the TV's advanced picture settings like noise reduction and such to get the best pircture. Configured the wrong way, you may see a lot more artifacts from upscaled sources.
