    Yung Daikin pinka matibay

Kahit kaibigan kong sa Samsung nagtatrabaho, hindi bilib sa Samsung aircon. [emoji28]

Panasonic or Daikin pa rin talaga. LG pag lower budget.

    pcb kasi nila sablay bro
ang weird lang, kasi design flaw tapos tagal ng issue ay di parin na address. as early as 2014 pa yun unang case ko nabasa yan sa pinas e

LG rin, design flaw na kahit naka unplug yun AC mo, nag generate parin motor pag umikot elesi while cleaning. ending fried board din. buti sana if lahat naglinis ng split type alam yan

Check nyo rin ang add-ons. May base model and top of the line din kasi mga yan parang oto. If cooling lang kelangan mo then you won't need the nano-e mosquito killer whatever model of the same capacity that sells for a couple thousands more.

    i carrier/condura.
    local.
parts are supposed to be more available, dahil local.
sometimes, it's not the pagka-super-tibay. sometimes, it's just the availability of spare parts.

Yung friend ko 3x na pinalitan ang main board ng carrier nya. Bigla na lang nasira.

Im guessing baka nagka voltage spike sa kanila kaya nasusunog ang board

are these boards inside the building, protected from the elements by roof/ceiling and walls?
    or are they outside?

It's likely they're not properly grounded.

All power supplies have built-in voltage suppression circuits.... it's the standard. However, these circuits only work when there's a path to ground to dissipate the energy. If there's none, this surge will look for the path of least resistance... going through fragile silicon transistors and ICs until it dissipates.

Same assessment. Sa condo siya nakatira. Around 3 years pa lang yung building. Di ba standard ang grounding ng condo as part of building code(?)

Sabi ko kuha na lang sya ng power on delay or bili siya bagong aircon hehe
