i wish the owner would chime in and assure us,
"guys, i read your concerns and theories. i assure you, lumamig ang aircon namin nung kinabit namin yang venting aid na yan."

With that fix, its not exactly engineering.

Obviously the condenser fan has to work extra. More work means higher power consumption. MTBF for the fan is lower by a higher margin.

Nope the air will flow directly into the wall and then bounce back probably some air would go sideways that's why deflector is installed to make way for the air to go upwards.

Im not sure with the owner but probably there will be other options for condensing unit location but farther than this one.

Has anyone here tried those "fin combs" sold online? It's supposedly for straightening those fragile aluminum fins. I'm not sure if it's going to be effective or cause more problems.

I noticed one of our ACs have several bent fins which I think causes quick build up of that white gunk that eventually clogs the drain.

i haven't tried it myself, but it seems logical to...
try an ordinary suklay whose teeth are "appropriately spaced".
they are probably cheaper and easier to get.

basic inverter ac only have the compressor working on dc, while its other components like blower fan, outdoor fan are ac.

full dc means all major components are dc,

& full dc means it would be more expensive but it consumes less electricity?
