For me I swear on my LG 1.0HP split aircon performance after almost a year of use.
I find the main unit display quite useful and very convenient.
I can see in what mode I am, the current or set temp, and various other info.
Although I can also see them sa display ng remote, you do get a positive indication everytime you press a button.
Saka when not holding the remote, one glance sa overhead display makikita mo na kaagad yung status.
I also have a Daikin 1.5HP split aircon naman in the other room.
And yun nga, wala siyang status display aside from an LED indicator.
While setting up the unit aasa ka lang sa very faint beep and blinking LED as acknowledgment of your button press.
Pakiramdam ko rin mas madali makalamig ng kwarto si LG, probably due to the dual inverter compressor.
Mas malaki kwarto ni Daikin pero that's why 1.5HP capacity ang kinuha ko para sa kanya.
Reliability is one reason I initially went with the Daikin, although napasubo na lang din ako.
Sa initial kwenta kasi ng hipag ko eh wala pang 40k pero a little over 30k lang.
After installation, saka lang na-realize mali ang kwenta and I need to shell additional 10k pa pala.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have went on with the transaction due to budget limitations.
Kaya for my 2nd unit naghanap na ako ng mas mura then research na lang about reputation of the brand and model.
So far the LG is working great nga pero since mag-one year pa lang long term reliability remains to be seen.

Daikin kami sa office and sa bahay. Super tipid sa kuryente and reliable. Cost wise it was even cheaper than Panasonic when we got our units. I can DM you our contractor if you'd like.

One of our 4yrs old split type Daikin recently naubusan ng freon due to leak. So medyo hindi maganda pag install dun sa isang unit namin. But so far so good, basta continuous ang 6mo interval cleaning.

March 24th, 2022 12:17 PM #1577Is AUX a new player in the Philippine market? Ganda ng warranty pero still I prefer na mas matibay and no issues with shorter warranty kumpara sa mahabang warranty and may issues. I'm not saying that its not reliable, no experience with the brand, just my point of view. he he he
