Electricity rates have been going down the past months, so its becoming less attractive to get solar sets again for now. Hoping residential solar sets eventually go down to less than Php100k.

Nasa 100 pesos per watt pa rin kasi. To power a mid-sized house, mga 350thou din kailangan. Tapos 10 oras lang mapakinabangan. Talo pa rin sa patuloy na maintenance...

Meralco pa rin talaga ang lamang. Kung gusto mo makatipid, ibaba na lang ang switch

Me marecommend ba kayong locally available off-grid 100W solar power kit? i'm particularly concerned about the quality of the charge controller/inverter; OK lang ba yung China OEM?

May net metering ang Meralco. The excess power you generate will be credited to your next bill.

Note that your there's a minimum monthly bill qualification for net metering.

Checked prices recently at bumagsak na prices ng solar panel systems!
Any tsikoteer na gumagamit na sa house?
Planning to get from a QC company named Sungrow since affordable packages sila and mukhang reliable at quality installation. Any feedback din sa company?

Mukha since 3kw system is 120k and 5kw is 190k.
ROI of around 2.5-3 years then afterwards, real savings na sa meralco bill. Tumatagal usually more than 10-20years ang system.

With net metering ba to sa Meralco. I remember around 150 - 175k ang price dati. Pinag iisipan ko din ito dati.

Without net metering pa. Usually around 25-30k ang net metering kung ipapalakad with all LGU/ERC fees included. Pero kung ikaw mismo, around 8-10k lang pero madugo na red tape at hintay.

    Wow, grabe sa mahal dati.

How sturdy are the setups against typhoons? Can these be insured?
