Alleged Apple iPhone 6 front panel surfaces



The dust has only just began to settle in the post-MWC 2014 mobile world and we already have the next storm coming from Rumorland. An front panel allegedly belonging to the Apple iPhone 6 has shown its face and has led further credence to the rumors that iOS fans will finally be getting their overdue screen size upgrade.

The leaked panel features far slimmer bezels (actually non-existent on the sides), allowing for a notably larger screen to fit in the same footprint. However, even so, our calculation show that the new panel can only accommodate a 4.3” display – far smaller than the initially rumored 4.7”-5” screens.

Of course that might be just one of the prototypes Apple is testing or there could be more than one new iPhone like last year. There’s also the chance that this is an elaborate fake, so take it with a pinch of salt, but if legit the photo shows that at least one of the upcoming Apple smartphones will still be firmly planted in the compact territory.

Xiaomi Mi 3 review: An Android smartphone that delivers high-end performance at a mid-range price



Popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi released its third-generation Android smartphone in September last year, but the device is only just making its way beyond Greater China and into Singapore today.

The Southeast Asian country marks Xiaomi’s first stop in its march overseas. The company has already released its lowest-cost smartphone in its range of devices, the Redmi, to a warm welcome in Singapore. Though Xiaomi refused to release figures, the first batch of Redmi phones sold out in eight minutes when launched on February 21, while the second batch, which followed six days later, sold out in six minutes. The enthusiasm for the Redmi is perhaps not unexpected — the handset sells for just S$169 ($134), thus widening its potential appeal.

The real test comes as Xiaomi’s flagship Mi 3 goes on sale with a price tag of S$419 ($332) unlocked, nearly triple the price of the Redmi. If the Mi-3 does well in Singapore, it could very well give competitors including Samsung, HTC and LG cause for concern.

New shots of alleged Apple iPhone 6 front panel leak



Factory floors out of China have long been sources of leaked shots of upcoming Apple devices, and apparently the anticipated iPhone 6 is no exception. The latest alleged shot has it next to an iPhone 5S, showing off the rumored larger screen of Apple's next smartphone flagship (an roughly coinciding with previous leaked shots).

If the iPhone 6 follows the footsteps of its predecessor, then image leaks of panels and cases should continue to surface up to the anticipated announcement. That should take place sometime around early autumn if previous iPhone launches are any indication.

However, leaks out of Asian factories should always be taken with more than the usual bit of skepticism, as frequently they are of knock-off manufacturers or case designers. Also, we've been hearing inklings of a larger-screened iPhone since before the iPhone 5 launch, although not often with an actual front panel.

If the image does turn out to be true, it means that Apple has finally resigned itself to a large-screened display that has been an industry trend in recent years. We're sure to have an increasing amount of Apple leaks in the coming months, so be sure to check back with us often!

Well, you guys are in the minority. Most of the expensive and powerful phone users I know don't really need that much power, why do they buy it? I know you know the answer to that.

Most of the powerful Android smartphone buyers are actually getting the Andriods and not the iPhones or the Windows Phones, solely on specs. Saying things like "The Samsung S4 has 2gb of RAM, why buy the iPhone and its 1gb?!"

Also, ang hirap maging productive kapag smartphone ang gamit, andaming masasayang na oras. Sometimes, people are opting to use their smartphones for work just because it can, and not actually because it's the best efficient option at the moment.

parang mp race lang yan ng canon and nikon. people will buy the higher mp even tho most dont need it. for regular consumers we should've stopped at 10mp, heck i dont even use 10mp for 14in viewing size, kain lang ng space yan.

people buy andriod because ios gets boring after a while and windows hindi pa ganun ka daming support.

i think people have become more productive when smartphones arrived, productive din sa pag post ng pictures sa fb
