IIRC first analog phone ng daughter ko was she was 7 or 8. When she turned 10, gave her nokia 5235 (basta music phone sya iirc) as her 2nd phone (semi smart phone). Tapos every year hand me down smart phones from me, unless di nya type; i have to buy her anything under 15k value.

Pag hindi na hatid sundo. Or may time na gumagamit na sila PUV. Or may mga lakad na bukod sa school like pagpunta sa bahay ng classmates.
Para sa mga daughters ko eh grade 7. I also installed tracking apps so I know where they are anytime di na kailangan itanong. I also got then a cheap plan from smart ₱399. Unlitext na, some call time and 3gb data.
Although they had phones and tablets on earlier age. Pero most of the time pang laro lang.

No need to reconfigure anything further.

Huh! bro, when pa nawala si prinsesa natin?
aspect ratio18:9 is a cool screen size. basically 2 squares combine as one screen so you got wider viewing. the draw back of 18:9 some apps especially games were not yet compatible. may black both sides of the screen. Im sure apps developers will fix this issue![]()
meron pa bang new phones om the market that has 3.5 - 4.0 inch screens? Karamihan ata nasa 5inch na
iPhone SE is still in production, yung Xperia X Compact naman di yata available dito. Malamang XZ compact pangalan niya.
If you really want a compact Android powerhouse, the Z5 compact (SD810) is still perfectly capable after 2 years in the market. ☺

Does anyone have the Samsung J1 *Mini* Prime? Kumusta yung battery life?
Since same sya ng specs ng iPhone 6s, which is fast enough as daily driver.
Sa Android counterpart, hindi na ako gaano familiar eh, if meron man, most probably, toned down na sobra yung specs kaya medyo laggy na, or baka lumang android version na.
5" sa Android, madami, tapos up to date specs na din.
Analysts say a new SE will be announced early next year, naging hit din naman yung SE sa ibang markets being Apple's 'midrange' device.
Knowing Apple matagal naman support nila, plus you have tons of accessories to choose from since kasya yung para sa 5/5s. 😄
For some reason my sister's SE lags when scrolling to Spotlight Search. Weird lang kasi anlaki pa ng memory niya so that couldn't be the problem.

Am excited for the Note 8. Consider me a fanboy.

Same here. But the more I read about it, the more I get disappointed.
So far, it's basically an S8 Plus with a stylus. I'm not all that convinced with the S8 Plus. My brother bought one and sold it after 2 weeks since it's not all that different from his S7 Edge.
Biggest improvement for the Note 8 would be the dual-lens camera - hopefully it knocks the iPhone 7+ and Huawei P10 out of the water. Everything else is evolutionary - smaller bezels, more RAM, bigger screen.
3300 mAh battery doesn't sound promising at all. Mixed rumors on the fingerprint scanner too - if it's in the back, big bummer. But if they somehow finf a way to integrate it in the screen, then that's a really big improvement over the S8.
Chanced are they'll price it higher than the S8+ which is already too pricey to begin with. I'm actually more interested if they'll launch the refurbished Note 7 at a lower price point.
