well i was talking about seniors' perception of the brand and di naman ganyan behavior nila

it's just amusing to look at a group of seniors and they're all using iphones

maybe there's also a sense of pride na they can tell their senior friends "look what my kids gave me for my birthday"

I still think iPhones are the best smartphones in terms of software, hardware and depreciation value. Hindi nga lang value for money proposition talaga. Masyadong "premium".

you buy Android and customize it to your lifestyle
you buy iOS and you adjust to what it can do - iOS is really designed to make Apple happy, they didn't think of the users...

BUT. it's 2018, I find it strange and almost impossible to convert from iOS to Android (and vice versa)

You loose iMessage and Facetime if you move to Android, Snapchat's iOS App is also way better.

Android to iOS - you loose Android's notification and ability to change default apps.

    btw share ko lang ..
kaya pala no charger and micro usb kasama nung bentahan kasi alangan ma test ang charging during meetup (but i did a quick plugin via car charger and red light went up, so it was charging naman i thought).
upon testing at home nasa 10 - 15 minutes per 1% O_o. tried several orig charger, with and without QC, orig cables (xiaomi, moto, samsung, sony); ayaw parin mag charge ng maayos. used my usb ammeter and it never went up to 1a charging rate (.9a pero split second lang), average charge rate is only .3 - .4, minsan mag drop pa ng .003 for a couple of minutes. no wonder "mura" ang benta. then i realized, the seller also posted a WTB and he's looking for a specific sony fast charger with qc 3.0 and pump express (IIRC srp is 1.3k). i was disappointed, planning to return it maski 5k nalang ibalik nya dun sa 5.5k.
since i wanted it to work, i tried charging it via my aukey car charger again (3a rated), just to use the gps function for a tagaytay trip. ayun from current 50% akala ko sakto mag lowbatt pagdating tagaytay, but after about a little over an hour sa byahe (with gps, data, waze and torque app TEMP widget all ON) 100% na sya. so i tried my spare orig samsung cable from glove box with ammeter, mabagal parin charge rate (even though 3A rated yun aukey charger; so i tried the aukey cable, with same aukey charger normal "fast" charging na. long story short, akala siguro ni seller defective, pero cable lang pala maselan yun phone ^_^
Wala naman sir hehe, sa Lazada and Shopee meron, though I'm not sure nga lang sa software since Japanese units were previously carrier-locked. Abangan ko next year kung dumating na refurb XZ1, magandang secondary phone for games, etc. [emoji2]

For me as iphone user, mas madali ang UI nya compared to android or it’s bec i’m iphone user since iphone 3rd gen.... my last android was the Lg g pro...

Below were the mobiles i owned:

    -nokia 1610 (hs)
    -nokia 5110 (hs/college)
    -sony ericsson k700 (college)
-sony ericsson P1i (adulting including the below)
    -lg g pro
-iphone 3g (jailbreak era and been able to do good business as well [emoji4])
    -iphone 3gs
    -iphone 5
    -iphone 5s(still with me as 2nd phone/sin phone [emoji4])
    -iphone 7
    -iphone 8s plus
-iphone Xs max (i was tempted to the screen size hence my less than a year ip8s plus was sold)

Siguro dahil dun sa jailbreak exp ko mas nagustohan ko si iphone... mas nakilala ko...

Im a fan of android phones specifically the Samsung S phones.
There a lot of free downloadable resources for android.

But next week, my planned upgrade of my S7 will no longer be another Galaxy S phone.

I will switch specially if its free.

for me it's unfair to say Apple - high end | Android - masa

I only compare Galaxy S/Note vs iPhone vs Pixel

To those who cannot afford it, I always recommend (2018 only) either Poco F1 or Mi A2 (Android One)

Galaxy S/Note vs iPhone vs Pixel - almost priced similarly, features are +/- so all depends on how do you want your phone's camera to perform... and which ecosystem you're already using.

Apple for me. Since that's what I've been using eversince. Don't see the need to customized anything.

At the end of the day it's still just a smart phone.

Tried andrlid before yun Meron pa galaxy tab. Sold it the very next day. Hirap talaga ako

Agree. And not everyone that owns an android does so because they can't afford an iPhone

Personally, I just don't like it. It's not intuitive unlike Android.

Di na dumadami ang iPhone users, tinataasan nalang nila presyo para may sales growth pa rin. [emoji23]

29% increase in revenue despite 0% unit sales growth. Meaning tinaasan lang nila ng 29% yung presyo [emoji23]

LOL! Fanatics. It blows my mind how people would line up for hours just to get first dibs on the latest model iphone

BTT: Still looking for a decent Samsung for my Mom. I am happy with my Asus Zenfone but I want a phone where I can use smartswitch

Di ko gets bat kailangan one or the other. Pinipilit gawing magkalaban. Parang team iPhone vs team Android. There are fanboys from both sides that belittle the opposing brand.

We can appreciate both phones and everyone has different preferences so there's really no correct answer.

I'd consider getting an iPhone again if it has dual-sim functionality. Although Android Auto is still better than Apple CarPlay because you can't use your phone if it's connected to Waze via CarPlay while you can still use your phone normally with Android Auto.

iOS' emojis are much better than Android's. Apple's also generally snappier, but newer flagship Samsungs are also quick too.

^technically, Android Auto is not yet available locally... hence +1 for iOS

    ***
    about the price...

based on my experience, iOS user ang wife and daughter ko, Galaxy S/Pixel ako... mas mura if you use iOS.

almost same price sila when brand new...

Tapos, 2 years later... mabebenta mo pa ng magandang price yung iPhone (wife ni misis, 20k for a 32GB iPhone 7)

Dagdag ka lang ng konti... may bagong iPhone ka nanaman.

Sa S/Note/Pixel - halos walang resale value... mas malaki palagi cash out mo pag time na mag-upgrade.

Some people are just trying to justify their purchase. It looks like they are trying to convince other people pero the reality is they are 2nd guessing their choice. Hehe
