Thanks everyone! The calendar widget worked. I got the copper color (SA said bagay daw sakin copper than blue or black)

I was able to back up with Smart Switch in May but there was an error with the apps so my apps did not restore

I am very annoyed with my new phone. How come everytime it sleeps I have to press the power button, then swipe, then draw my pattern WTF! I hate that there is no home button like my Note 2! Can't I bypass this having to press the power button and swipe pa?

Really sorry for the questions. I miss my Note 2, it's a very simple phone to use kasi. But I have to say, this phone is fast. I have almost 6 yrs worth of SMS (61664) and it's restoring fast LOL!

cathy girl according sa hacker friend ko eh mag xiaomi pocophone ka daw.
may famous blogger na binenta agad yung bagong samsungnote at bumili ng pocophone. Ang dami kaya nagbebenta 2nd hand na note9 ngayon. Why kaya.

About your concern, try enabling the hard press button to bypass pressing the power button and go directly sa pattern security mo. You can also set na always on display Yung homebutton mo if you want para kunyari may physical home button ka.

Try niyo na lang yung fingerprint sensor, one touch and it takes you to the homescreen agad. You can't use this feature nga lang if the phone is lying on a surface. I miss side mounted fingerprint sensors. [emoji30]

Btw kayo pa lang yata nabasa kong negative comment diyan, most users hate the Bixby button. 🤣

The Note 9 functions like a Note 2 when unlocking.

There's no home button but if you press the bottom of the screen it will unlock the phone automatically unless you have security enabled (PIN, iris, fingerprint, or face).

Just enable this setting:

Nope, yung nasa left side I think below the volume button, it activates Samsung's in-house digital assistant.

If you're connected to the internet and maraming background apps running, normal lang mag init but not too hot dapat kasi may cooling system naman ang Note 9.

My phone is powered by Snapdragon 845 as well, never naman siya nag init even after playing games and photo editing, hanggang warm lang. Efficient naman yung processor. [emoji846]

maybe one way to fix the note2 is remove the display and bake that board in an oven.. to resolder the pins. tedious task but it might work.

set up your intelligent scan: face and retina unlock

also setup your two index fingers... for unlocking.



I also miss the home button lol.. I can't wait to get the s10+ [emoji28]

Bixby is life Bixby is smart haha. Explore mo mam features ng note 9 mo. You'll appreciate it eventually. Makes life easier.

Marami naman options to unlock the phone. Nasanay ka lang talaga na yung home button nasa harap. Personally, I use fingerprint unlocking (registered 4 fingers). Badtrip lng MDM app namin kasi forced change yung PIN unlock option to password.

Yung Bixby button dinisable ko using 3rd party app. May options to remap din pero for now masgusto ko disable.

i deactivated the predictive text in my phone.
...smart aleck...
...can't even predict the right words.

during the while that it was on, it took me much more time to compose the text message. its predictions were always getting in the way.

You’ll get used to it fast. I find it weird without the home button at first. A few days using it you’ll find it more convenient mas madali gamitin
