India is the fastest growing market for smartphones...

They have local brands which are competing against the Xiaomi's and Huawei's... (We have to thank India for the Xiaomi A1 and the upcoming A2)

Having a factory in India will allow Samsung to claim the local market with a "built in India for India"

Grabe ang advertising campaign ng vivo cellphones sa fifa world cup '18. Talagang napakalaki ng media mileage nila worldwide w/ all those constant vivo brandname being flashed every minute on the pitch side electronic digital billboard.

I think same strategy din ginawa nila nung nba finals w/ their star endorser steph curry.

So it made me wonder, are vivo products any good?

what i like is yung bluetooth codec LDAC, compatible siya sa Sony headphone or similar na may LDAC feature

EU just penalized google for $5 billion for including their own apps on Android. This might mean Google would now have to charge for the Android in the future and it won't be free anymore.

Some of those apps are base apps and necessary especially after a factory reset. That's why you can disable it but not uninstall. Users that are not that techy would have a hard time setting up after a factory reset without those base apps like play store. Or the default browser.
