Screen burning is amoled's weakness so I guess they don't treat it as a hazard like what stock engine said. Plus grey market stores don't come with parts warranty, option lang sa nagtanong if he doesn't want to spend too much on a new phone.
Great news for Samsung customers then, sana palitan din nila display units na may screen burn. Can't properly test the device with those permanent stains.

Bought my S8 for 22k with warranty (bought my mom an S8 for 25.5k, brother bought a Note 8 for 30k) so going slightly used is the cheapest way to go for people who don't wanna spend too much on a new phone.
All phones in perfect condition with no scratches at all, complete package, and intact local Samsung warranty.
That's cheaper than buying a midrange Samsung or a top of the line phone from other brands.

Depends on the user I guess, personally I won't get a used phone unless the previous owner is a family member. Factory refurbished units are okay though since they had undergone the same QC control/testing with new batteries and accessories.

Because?
I've had several used phones (my brother has had dozens) and they were in pristine condition with absolutely no issues. All the new ones with warranty pa. But I also bought a used S7 Edge last year and it was working perfectly until I sold it.

Thanks guys. malaki rin kasi ang price difference ng non-NTC na S9 compared sa may warranty.
Prone din ba sa screen burn ang S9?

I don't know what other people are doing with their phones, but I've never encountered any case of amoled burn-in on any amoled phones I owned, that includes the original Galaxy S phone. Right now I'm using a Note 8 and have no burn-in issues. On the other hand my LGV30 have image retention issues that's so bad it's like an old clingy ex gf that just couldn't let go.
^they set their brightness too high and dont utilize screen saver feature

Will this make the Samsung smartphones cheaper?

Oh i bet they'll make tons of cheap phones but still put a premium on their flagship lines.
Grabe ang advertising campaign ng vivo cellphones sa fifa world cup '18. Talagang napakalaki ng media mileage nila worldwide w/ all those constant vivo brandname being flashed every minute on the pitch side electronic digital billboard.
I think same strategy din ginawa nila nung nba finals w/ their star endorser steph curry.
So it made me wonder, are vivo products any good?
do what you gotta do so you can do what you wanna do
^they only need to sell sa local market nila...
Every unit sold outside China is just a bonus.
