Yun lang, hard to gamble if you're really concerned about your privacy. But then again most phones have apps that gather your data without permission. Funny how a music player like Spotify needs access to your contacts.
Started with IP3, 3GS and 4S at nakakapagod din mag jailbreak palagi pag may upgrade sa OS. Shifted to Note2 and now Note 4 and for me there is not much difference in the interface and basic operations. I stick with the Note series because of the stylus where I can readily take notes where ever I go. My wife continues to be an iphone user (4, 5 & 6) because of the simplicity.
Wait there is Ipad pro with the I-pencil. Unless I can put it in my pocket, I wont buy it.
Ako ngayon considering this move too for the same reasons. Ayos sana IOS kaso sobra dami limitations, i guess for the sake of the majority. Hence you have to jailbreak it.
Sa hardware naman, as usual pabarya barya lang talaga Apple kaya nakakafrustrate lalo na if you've been waiting for so long, haha!
When i transitioned from symbian akala ko hindi nako mangangalikot, i was thinking gusto ko naman gawing regular use lang kaya i went for IOS. Yun nga lang diko din napigilan kalikutin at in the end nabitin ako sa kanya. I remember dati nung dumating iPhone5 ko, di ko sya ginagamit for a while kasi wala pa jailbreak, i was still using my old 4s which was jailbroken.
Fast forward a few years later, problema ko ngayon is going about yung ibang dependencies ko na exclusive sa IOS like imessage, facetime, photostream, etc, kasi heavily used sila saming family. I know may alternatives naman na ready pero I'm gona have to teach them how to use it again, lalo na to my 74 yr old mom.
I don't jailbreak or root my phones whatever OS mahirap na.
After a quarter million iPhones hacked, a reminder 'jailbreaking' devices still not safe - CNET

But nowadays seriously I have more important stuff to do than look for updates of my apps on piracy sites when I could just buy the app and update it automatically in the App Store.
Tweaks ang magandang ilagay like activator, ccsetting, recordmyscreen.
Admittedly marami nag jailbreak for pirated apps but personally I jailbreak para bumili ng tweaks like quick compose for sms. So hinde Na kailangan pumasok ng message para mag text and callbar hinde Na kailangan punta ng phone app para tumawag then if meron in coming calls hinde lalabas kung ano man ginagawa mo
Like this. I can make a call while still replying to you.
Not worth to pirate apps. But sometimes maganda din to test muna apps before mo bilhin [emoji16]
