ako I just charge everywhere, anywhere na pwede...in the car, sa desk..yun lang nga pag nasa labas na, screen brightness close to minimum which defeated the purpose of having a retina display.

but I have instaledl a cydia tweak smart 3G, it automatically turns off data, when phone is in lock mode, then turn it on pag unlock mo na..

reason why I can't upgrade to IOS6 because of cydia tweaks...

People behind Cydia are more innovative than those employed by Apple. Apple should fire these employees, stop suing the hackers and employ them. Maybe then iOS can cope up with Android.

Sony should really ste it up if they wanted to compete with Samsung in the smartphone category.

A more updated OS version and removable battery is what limits the new xperia. Although the battery is already okay at 2350 mah.

    The "innovator" no more...

Rumor: 4.8-inch iPhone to debut in June | Apple - CNET News

Rumor: 4.8-inch iPhone to debut in June

The rumors are afloat about a bigger iPhone, one that could be more competitive with the popular Samsung Galaxy S III and other larger smartphones. The rumor alludes to a 4.8-inch iPhone, perhaps iPhone 6, to be unveiled at Apple's June 2013 Worldwide Developer's Conference.

As the market for mobile devices matures, however, Apple's devotion to its "less is more" and "we know better" product strategy can be counterproductive.
Apple's current smartphone revolves around one-handed usage, and the company will milk the iPhone 5 for profit and market share and hope for a perfectly timed replacement that repeats that formula within a year. But the popularity of larger screens has to be a factor that impacts how long Apple can ride the iPhone 5. If the majority of smartphones sold in 2013 have larger than 4-inch screens, Apple isn't going to miss the market opportunity by sticking too long with its one-handed phone design

While Raymond James analyst Tavis McCourt calculated that cumulative sales of the iPhone 4, 4S, and 5 outpace those of the Galaxy S III and Note by 219 million to 131 million, the momentum is shifting.

Samsung's Galaxy S III sold more than 40 million units in the last seven months and is averaging sales of 190,000 per day, according to the company. Analysts covering Apple estimate the company will reports sales of around 47 million iPhones for the quarter ending December 31, 2012. But, Apple reportedly has recently cut orders roughly in half for iPhone 5 screens due to decreased demand and increased competition from Samsung and other Android-based smartphones.

Apple may shed some light on the future of the iPhone when it reports quarterly earnings on Wednesday.

Samsung Galaxy S4 To Go On Sale In April, Feature Wireless Charging (Rumor) | Geeky Gadgets

Samsung Galaxy S4 To Go On Sale In April, Feature Wireless Charging (Rumor)

We have been hearing a number of different rumors about Samsung’s next generation Galaxy S smartphone, the Galaxy S4, and now it would appear that the Galaxy S4 will go on sale in April of this year.

That would mean that Samsung will either unveil the Galaxy S4 at Mobile World Congress next month, or at a separate Samsung Unpacked event some time in March.

    Galaxy S3

We have already had a number of rumored specifications on the Galaxy S4, and now it would appear that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will come with wireless charging, and Samsung will apparently sell a separate dock and a back cover for the device that will feature wireless charging.

The previous specifications we heard about the Samsung Galaxy S4 include a 4.99 inch AMOLED display, plus an 8 core 1.8GHz Exynos Octa 5 processor and a Mail-T658 GPU, plus 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera on the back plus a front facing 2 megapixel camera.

We are hoping that Samsung will unveil the new Galaxy S4 at MWC next month, although we could possibly have to wait until March for it to be unveiled.

Bought Ip5 and S3 for my kids yesterday, honestly S3>Ip5. Disappointed with the Ip5 should have bought the Note2 instead which the kimstore seller advised me to purchase.

It's a bit strange, actually since they (SAMSUNG) just announced that the S3 Mini will go on sale locally soon. Why would anyone buy that now if the S4 will come just around the corner?

Samsung unveils Galaxy S2 Plus with a shot of Android 4.1
by Lance Whitney January 10, 2013 5:55 AM PST

A new Galaxy S2 phone is coming to town, though it isn't much different than its predecessor.

Announced today by Samsung, the Galaxy S2 Plus builds upon the S2 by including Android 4.1.2, aka Jelly Bean.

Initially outfitted with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the original S2 received an update to Android 4.0 last June and is finally due up for Android 4.1 sometime soon.

Otherwise, most of the tech specs between the S2 Plus and the original S2 are the same.

Like its precedessor, the S2 Plus will offer a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display. An 8-megapixel camera with an LED flash is on the back, while a 2-MP camera graces the front. But the rear camera now comes with a zero-lag shutter speed that can more easily capture fast-moving objects.

The new phone offers 3G in the form of 21Mbps HSPA+, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 3.0.

The Plus's built-in storage has been trimmed in size to 8GB from the original's 16GB or 32GB. But the new model's SD storage can handle up to 64 gigabytes of data, while the original maxed out at 32GB. The Plus also includes an option for near-field communications support so people can use the phone for mobile payments.

Rumors about a Galaxy S2 Plus kicked off almost a year ago. Samsung did release a Plus version of the original Galaxy S phone in 2011.

Samsung has yet to reveal the price, launch date, or availability of the S2 Plus. A spokesman for the company also told CNET that no announcements have been made about the new phone reaching the U.S. market.

The S3 mini is more of a budget phone than a smaller version of the flagship phone.
