    I beg to disagree.

oh yeah! and some(from reviewers) are even burning DVD disk in the background, all at the same time. but of course, mas maganda rin pag medyo mataas din memory mo.

IIRC more than 60% of the PC games available in the market "today" will not benefit from the Dual Core technology because at the time most of these games were written dual core is still not available, I think I read this somewhere in Tomshardware.com and Anandtech.com when they were reviewing dual cores.

    Maybe this year, yes.

But with the upcoming DX10, Kentsfield and DirectX 10, I'm pretty sure that game developers are doing their share of "work" (you know, develop high-end games so consumer will be forced to scratch teh upgrade itch).

yes, but just a handful of games and benchmarks failed to show any difference between single and dual cores

single cores are no slouch pa naman, my old office PC a p4 2.4 could burn a dvd, watch a divx movie, surf the net, download 10+ *******s simultaneously, download from limewire and i could use microsoft office apps pa hehe. pero shempre go for dual core na para future proof..on second thought lapit na rin pala phased out coz of the incoming quad cores, your choice
