Yung Samsung LCD TV kong nasira, yung sounds nya sablay talaga eversince at parang ngongo ang tunog. Kaya ang ginagamit kong sounds minsan when watching TV yung binili kong 5.1 home theater surround sound para magandang pakinggan. Good to use when watching movies pero kung pang music di masyadong magandang tumunog kahit na anong adjustment ang gawin.

This is somewhat true, lightning strikes can destroy any electronic appliances lalo na kung malapit at napakalakas. This is because of the EMP produced by the lightning strikes, kaya next time kapag kumikidlat ng malakas, better switch off or unplug your electronic appliances. Nangyari naman samin ito sa mini component namin. The mini compo suddenly turned off, the same time with the loud bang of the lightning. Di na nag-on uli at nasira yung power supply nya.

It was found out that the problem lies with what they called "T Card", a printed circuit board with many IC's which they say controls the color of the monitor. He phoned the service center and later told us that the broken part cost 27K ! WHAAATTTTTTT? That cost will buy a new LCD TV of same brand and size in today's price. I'm thinking of buying new LCD TV but not Samsung this time but now I'm eyeing on SONY BRAVIA, I heard Sony brands are durable, is it?

Please post here fellow tsikoteers if how long it takes before your Samsung LCD TV started showing problems...Thanks!
uh oh. I am in the same predicament as yours. 37in, 4 years old but mine is seldom used. havent had it checked though wala pa kasing time, but mine has washed out whites, ganun din ba sayo? if so crap, 27k!

i bought a 32in Samsung LCD tv around feb 2008 sa Singapore.
shipped it to PH - buo pa hanggang ngayon.
very old model. doesn't need an adapter for the antennae port para masagap local channels
