Curved displays have a narrow viewer sweet spot. Any other place and the picture looks distorted. So it's not a good family TV.

    From: CNET
[A curved screen] effectively requires the owner to sit at a rather precise distance from the screen. Too close or too far, and the curve loses its major benefits. And let's not forget, this is for one viewer. With several people on the couch, all the claimed benefits are lost.
If you're the only one watching and you're within the prescribed viewing angle and distance, then it MAY be a good buy. Otherwise, a flat screen might be a better choice.

nakita ko kasi yung demo ng LG sa Robinsons sinubukan kong manood from the center to my right then sa left side dapat sa gitna ka talaga manood or else mapapamura ka

just me, when it comes to TVs, bigger is better.

tip ko lang sir TS... pag bibili ka na, try mo muna panoorin sa store.
puwesto ka sa harap, left side, right side, etc... view it from different angles.
then try to imagine na rin kung ano ang magiging itsura niya kapag nakakabit na sa wall.
matagal- tagal mo ring gagamitin 'yan, kaya medyo esep- esep talaga. oks ba sir? good luck.

When i'm buying a tv i bring my own movie to watch in the store. Those demo movies they have are custom made to their screens. Bring your own movie and let them play that so you can know kung talagang maganda yun kulay or details kasi you know your movie by heart. May mga instances kasi na pagbinili mo na pag dating sa bahay iba na kulay or d ganun ka detailed pala or nahihilo ka after 15mins of watching. Hassle magsoli at palitan ibang brand. Which happened to me by the way.

For standard viewing, stay away from curved screens.
With a 200k+, i'd rather get this one, Panasonic TC-65ZT60 viera 3D full hd.
Almost lahat naman na ng flat screens ngayon boasts same features and techs, next thing to consider is the after sales service....

Sharp ang maganda ang backlight hindi masyadong maliwanag hindi rin madilim pantay-pantay talaga kaya hindi masakit sa mata.

101 agree... those demo movies were usually computer animated movies.

TS is switching from 32" to 50".
so, ano rekomendasyon mo? the smaller or the bigger?
