i dunno about curved or flat pero ok naman yung saken--
Hmmm..this is strange.
Nung pina nood ko to sa moa appliance centre i didn't see any viewing angle distortion. In fact, curved screens are designed to compensate the sweet spot problem. Look at IMAX moa, the 8th storey screen is curved and you can seat anywhere without viewing angle issue.
Imho, At 7ft viewing distance, 42-55" or even 60" screen is better compared to 32" and below....
^ given: posts nos. 1 and 8
my question: so, ano rekomendasyon mo? the smaller or the bigger?
anyway, baka nga naman pag nabasa ni TS 'yung link eh mag stay na lang siya sa 32"

the 48" curved i saw is P59,899 while the flat 50" is P62,899. both have the same features that i don't have much use for (apps, wlan browser, etc.. smart tv, etc..) but are welcome just in case i need to tinker into it. standard features i guess for the 2015 model.
both were introduced may 2015. by december siguro baka bumaba pa prices by 5-10k
Im planning to bring in 60" from qatar.
Kaso baka sa naia malayo pa lang ako tinatanaw nako ng custom.
Mga magkano kaya ang tax non?

It's just the opposite.
In an Imax theatre, the screen is big enough so a few center rows and columns of viewers can feel the wrap-around effect, but not in any other seats.
I suggest you read this: Are curved TVs a gimmick? - CNET
To get the benefit of a wraparound image, or even the benefit of a more natural image that has every part equidistant from your eye, you need to be sitting in a pretty specific place. With a theater screen, that place is an area big enough in which a lot of people can sit. Sure, people off to the sides aren't getting the best effect (if any), but the folks in the middle are. With a smaller curved screen, that sweet spot is a lot smaller.
Parang mas ok lang curved kapag multi-monitor setup for gaming.

I know the thread is about Samsung but anyone here interested with the Android TV? Does Samsung have 1?
go for flat. less than 180 degrees viewing angle ng curve. atsaka gimik lang yang curve. maganda lang itsura but no real world advantages. just get the biggest screen you can afford. if you really want a 3d effect, go get a projector.
