Saka medyo mahal pa ang curved Screen. The most expensive that I've seen is a 60" Curved Samsung TV worth 200+K pesos and the cheapest one is around 60K pesos i think? If kaya naman ng budget go fo it.
kung kaya ng budget go!yun nga lang may limit talaga yung viewing angle niya
May limit pa pala viewing angle nya? I thought the reason why it is curved is to compensate viewing angles with it's size. Usually kasi ang curved screens na nakikita ko eh nasa 42" pataas. Diba parang blackboard sa schools? The reason some are curved para makita ng nasa farthest left and farthest right seating in the classrom, lalo na ung nasa unahan.
Wow, I was just reading online about flats vs. curves. Basically, most of what I read said that the curved is more for aesthetics and minimal lang yung advantage in terms of viewing angles.
So unless you have budget to spare for curves, it may still be better to get just the flat ones.

let's just say it will be placed in the same position as my current lcd. wall mounted, front of my bed and center, 7 feet away from my view and is about 1.5 feet above sa height ng bed. switching from 32" to 50" :D
Parang babae lang yan, ano ba gusto mo flat or may curve? Hahahaha. Jk lang if kaya ng budget then go na yan!![]()
wala pa kasi ako kilala na may curved baka magsisi ako at di pala ok haha anyway october pa naman ako kukuha ng unit if ever. nagreresearch pa ako. pero salamat sa mga suggestion
Curved displays have a narrow viewer sweet spot. Any other place and the picture looks distorted. So it's not a good family TV.

If you're the only one watching and you're within the prescribed viewing angle and distance, then it MAY be a good buy. Otherwise, a flat screen might be a better choice.[A curved screen] effectively requires the owner to sit at a rather precise distance from the screen. Too close or too far, and the curve loses its major benefits. And let's not forget, this is for one viewer. With several people on the couch, all the claimed benefits are lost.
just me, when it comes to TVs, bigger is better.
tip ko lang sir TS... pag bibili ka na, try mo muna panoorin sa store.
puwesto ka sa harap, left side, right side, etc... view it from different angles.
then try to imagine na rin kung ano ang magiging itsura niya kapag nakakabit na sa wall.
matagal- tagal mo ring gagamitin 'yan, kaya medyo esep- esep talaga. oks ba sir? good luck.

When i'm buying a tv i bring my own movie to watch in the store. Those demo movies they have are custom made to their screens. Bring your own movie and let them play that so you can know kung talagang maganda yun kulay or details kasi you know your movie by heart. May mga instances kasi na pagbinili mo na pag dating sa bahay iba na kulay or d ganun ka detailed pala or nahihilo ka after 15mins of watching. Hassle magsoli at palitan ibang brand. Which happened to me by the way.
For standard viewing, stay away from curved screens.
With a 200k+, i'd rather get this one, Panasonic TC-65ZT60 viera 3D full hd.
Almost lahat naman na ng flat screens ngayon boasts same features and techs, next thing to consider is the after sales service....
Sharp ang maganda ang backlight hindi masyadong maliwanag hindi rin madilim pantay-pantay talaga kaya hindi masakit sa mata.
just me din...bigger screen size is not always better
people think TV screen size does matter???? pls check out below...

101 agree... those demo movies were usually computer animated movies.
