    Choosing between the Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Mop P and MiJia 1C (jut's model) ... 15,990 vs 10,990 ... not considering the older 1S anymore ...

    The one with LIDAR (Mop P) will have the advantage of being able to map out the rooms faster on the first and second runs ... but after a few runs, the 1C and Mop P will basically have the same mapping ... Mop P has an issue with the water tank ... the 1C supposedly has better water tank feature(s) ...

    Hindi 1C yung sakin bro. 1S (older model). 1C wasn't out yet when I bought mine.

    Kaya ba akyatin ng robot vac ang 15mm na gap. May rubber mat kasi na 15mm thickness nakapatong sa gym flooring.

    Soft and hindi abruptly 15mm agad akyatin sa carpet. Pag rubber mat may edge na aakyatin. Baka i-sense nya as obstacle and iwasan?

    Kaya yan. Specs say 15mm max height kaya akyatin. If gradual pa slope then sure di yan dedetect as obstacle.

    Edit: Biggest drawback of updated version (1C) is that it doesn't have LIDAR. So just weigh if that matters more than the stronger suction and mop feature.

    try putting it in a new room. it does a 360 then the lidar lets it map the whole room immediately, whatever is within line of sight

    saw a vid of the 1c. it built the map tile by tile as it bumped into things so no regrets. but if the price difference was bigger then maybe i would've chosen the 1c

    Haha bought a cheapo robot vacuum in Shopee. It doesn’t scan/plot the whole floor so some parts aren’t cleaned. It’s just like one of the car toys that turns when bumps into something hehe. Well you get what you pay for.
