Ok po, so that mapping function is single use only. It can't save multiple zones, thus the map is only for efficient and directive cleaning. Thanks sir, nice inputs for consideration.

One that's on sale? Haven't bought one yet since I first asked here but I noticed that from then till now, there's little tech advancement on the latest models compared to the older ones, still basic is the ability to scan and map the area to be cleaned efficiently.

Xiaomi. Mine has been serving me well for the past 1.5 years with no issues. There's a newer version with stronger suction and a mop feature - sells for around 12k in Lazada, even cheaper than when I bought my gen 1 vacuum from Xiaomi's store (15.5k there).

Hmm might be longer. Mine takes 20 minutes to clean my living room and dining area. When I clean it manually, it takes me about 10 min because I only focus directly on the dirt I see. If I were as thorough as the robovac, it would likely be the same.

I mean when cleaning the robot vacuum itself ... we need to take apart brushes and underpinnings to remove stuck dirt and hairs ...

There's a dustbin that you just remove and taktak to the trash can.

For the hair stuck in the rolling brush, I clean it every other week. Takes about 10 min to get the stuck hair out.

Why not the newer model, which is also cheaper? Same seller (Lucky HR). Has stronger suction (2.5 kPa vs 2.1 kPa) and mop feature.

Edit: Biggest drawback of updated version (1C) is that it doesn't have LIDAR. So just weigh if that matters more than the stronger suction and mop feature.

How do robovacs clean the floor under the dining tables and chairs? Will it go around each foot of the chairs?

Yes it goes around each foot of the chair/table. This is the cleaning path it takes, you'll see umikot talaga siya around each chair (you'll see the circular motion marked in red)

Yung ilalim naman like under my couch and cabinets (marked in yellow), dadaanan niya rin.
