Anyone out there who owns these? Would appreciate your feedback, there's almost a 5k difference between the two, my kuripot instinct tells me the ILife, both items have good reviews on lazada, and both are included in the top 5 robot vacuum s in an internet article. what do you think?

I am having difficulty attaching photos, so link na Lang po muna, thanks.

We bought a Roomba 600-series last year when we were in Alabama for $270 (tax included). My wife was so happy to see it at work!

I have the Xiaomi one. Been using it for almost a year or even more as I don't remember when we got it. Seems it does its job as you get lots of dust and small particles in the compartment after each run. My only gripe is you still need to use a manual broom in those pesky corners or the ones behind the door if you leave it open while the robot vacuums the place. But it is what it is and it's pretty convenient. I have cleaned the sensors only once as there's a page in the app for maintenance. Haven't replaced anything yet like brushes, etc.

    Have the Xiaomi Gen 1

Hulog ng langit, especially now na work from home.

Now, thinking of replacing it with the version that mops after vacuuming the house

I've had the Xiaomi robovac for about a year now. Very happy with its functionality, gets the job done with no fuss.

Most robovacs function the same, differentiating factor would be parts availability (brushes mostly). Xiaomi sells the spare parts online so not an issue there.

You might also want to check Anker's Eufy Robovac. Same price as Xiaomi.

I'm absolutely sure that not ALL robot vacuums are the same... maybe only if they share the same assembly line and sold as two or more different brands.

This link might help you decide which model works best for you. 1 most common mistakes made when selecting a robot vacuum

It may not provide you a list of specific models, but at least you'll know what features to look out for.

ILife +1 (c/o Egan because one review in Lazada says it is better than their Roomba, just don't know what series the guy was referring to)

    Xiaomi + 3

yung 3rd wheel (sa harap) - replaced once
    filter - I think 3 times na

In that case, mukhang mature tech na itong robot vac, so safe na maski ano brand, hindi malayo na maglabas na rin ang the likes of hanabishi, union, etc in the near future

What makes it hard for me to decide to buy the higher priced xiaomi is kakabili ko lang last December 15 ng Philips FC9350 na vacuum and this despite na maayos pa ung shopvac namin na disappointed ako sa performance.

Thank you for the link oj88, I think both units above conforme with the points mentioned in the article, except for area mapping Mayne, I saw a comment of a buyer in lazada that the ILife did not have lidar tech, is this the one that helps it map the area? Also,. good point on the height of the robovac so it can slide under furniture.

Edit: I went back to check the specs of both and saw that the ilife did had little detail, so I have to research on the features of both on their respective sites, thanks again oj88!

hmmm... I did a comparo long ago before purchasing mine...

choices were Xiaomi (Gen 1), entry level Roomba and an ubranded one.

Unbranded one did not have a lidar which means it will just keep moving forward until it bumps into something.
(I think) the Roomba didn't have the rotating brush underneath

Why Xiaomi? - it has an app and can be controlled even if you're not at home
it can map your house and clean different rooms
    parts are easily available

cons - it's on the noisier side (especially compared to the better ones)

    before you purchase...

how's your house floor? baka it has different levels making it impossible for the vacuum to clean the entire floor in 1 go.
do you use a vacuum to clean? or walis and dustpan?
    do you have pets/kids?

Nakakatuwa ito, and I admit tempted kami ni misis bumili. But our laboratory had a Roomba, and I observed hindi naman ganun ka-ayos yung linis niya. After daanan ng Roomba sinubukan ko punasan yung sahig, may alikabok at agiw pa rin. Yung cleaning brush niya parang ilang hibla lang while the vacuum is pretty weak.

kaya nga I chose the Xiaomi... may brush sa ilalim...

I have 4 cats, Kaya I need to vacuum daily, nito kasing ECQ, napansin ko na madalas kami Ni daughter ma allergy, unlike dati na lumalabas to work, ngayon full exposure to fur. Hirap kasi sa manual vac ang bigat ng unit na hila hila mo parati.

Napansin ko sa ILIFE, for a 4.5k savings vs the Xiaomi, it has a lower battery cap of 2 hours vs 2.5 hours. Wala siyang APP, remote control Lang. Mas mahina suction power, 1000 pA vs 1800 pA, pero I read sa isang review na sufficient na ito kung wala kang carpet. No LIDAR din. No path mapping, planned zigzag lang.

    But, it has wet mopping.

Edit, after watching a comparison of both at YouTube, I think I will buy the Xiaomi because of the suction brush, higher power and intelligent mapping, parang hilo ung takbo ng ILIFE sa video
