Question about ABS CBN TV PLUS (BLACK BOX)

In order to be able to watch exclusive TVchannels from ABS your digital tuner should know the decryption key

I believe they dont share the decryption key to other hardware manufacturers to force consumers to purchase their digital tuner box.

What youre asking defeats their intent to control viewership in their favor

Thanks for the reply, but there were times (twice) that my TV was able to access the exclusive channels.... I do not know what happened...

Goodam po nag install po ako ng tv plus napagana ko naman the problem is may humming sound or static pag manunuod na ako ng tv..pano po kaya yun? Kung ground problem san or ano kaya pwedeng i ground.thanks

Have it tested with another TVset, if the same result happens then return it

Tested different unit and cables sir but still static..i think ground problem na talaga to. I dont know where to tap or put the ground

isoli mo nalang sir, wala namang nakalawit na grounding wire sa tvbox (at least dun sa nabili kong tvplus box)

Anung channels ang tinutukoy mo? Kung ABS-CBN exclusive channels, mukang walang nadagdag. Cinemo, Yey, Knowledge, DZMM, KBO pa din.

Yung non-ABS meron ata pero ndi ko alam kung anu ano kasi hindi ko naman pinapanood masyado. At pwede mo mapnood yun sa non-TV Plus units.

Wala kasi kaming TV plus.. but nung bumisita ako sa bahay ng gf ko for the first time recently, nagulat ako na may NBA Premium TV yung TV plus. (and some Solar channels, according sa hearsay). Scan lang yung TV plus, and, meron nang NBA Premium (but it's in test broadcast).

I hope that permanent na sya sa TV plus (crossing fingers, haha)

Kaya nga I'm tempted to buy TV plus right now, instead of switching to cignal haha.. habol ko lang kasi yung everyday NBA games eh. Sana permanent na sila sa TV plus 😁

Saw a rival of the ABS CBN TV Plus while watching on BTV here sa province; (but it's only available only in metro manila) it's called Easy Tv Black Box.. it costs a bit pricey for P2,999 with 1 year free subscription. Any thoughts and ideas on this?

Nasa link mentioned above yung list ng channels. But don't expect local channels (2, 5, 7, 9, and the like) in this box.

There are other rivals to TV+ which show encrypted channels already being broadcasted digitally. TV+ displays these channels when the OK button is pressed but does not distinguish between those that are free to air (FTA) and payTV

Using my RCA digital tuner i always see the encrypted channels with the $ sign and i have always wondered how to pay for those channels. Last Xmas i chanced upon some of these encrypted channels (eg NBA premium and jackTV) to be viewable. After a few days its gone, so i guess its all in the spirit of Xmas

Now that this question is raised do i find the answer to my question. In order to view these premium channels broadcasted digitally i have to get one of this.

Additionally this product is advertised in ETC channel

The antenna is the stock magnet-mount unit that came with the ABS-CBN TV Box.

Though, my flying needs some brushing up. Truth be told, the wobbly flight was not entirely my fault. Flying near large metal structures like close to a metal roof, tends to mess up the compass and affects stability. The Phantom 3 Standard only relies on three sensors for flight guidance... GPS, compass, and barometer. It has none of the anti-collision sensors of modern drones.
