Question about ABS CBN TV PLUS (BLACK BOX)

Tsikot peeps, may nakaexperience na ba sa inyo na laging walang signal?? Yung sa blackbox kasi namin lately, lagi siya yung putol putol na broacast to the point na mas maganda pa gamitin yung regular antenna ng tv. Putol putol as in distorted sounds tapos yung screen nafefreeze minsan. Ngayon lang lumabas yung mga problem na ito. Tapos kapag nagscan naman ulit, wala na blackscreen na lang lalabas. Dahil ba sa "test broadcast" or may sira yung unit namin?? We couldn't find the receipt na eh so baka hindi mahonor warranty, so thinking na baka pwede ko naman ma DIY sa bahay.

Was going to get TV plus but found out its not even hdmi.

read sa seller sa fb na this will only read free digital channels. wala yung additional 4 channels offered for free nung abscbn box. i think those are teledyaryo, knowledge channel, cinemaone and another channel

Some signal captured in the scan process are still scrambled thats why the video is out of sync or no audio.

Its all part of the test broadcast, the scrambling of video and or audio signal

Other branded digital receivers are usually priced lower than abs-cbn because it cant display premium channels (eg cinemo, knowledge, teleradyo) offered exclusively by them

Guess the extra channels are worth the extra price. Ok naman teledyaryo and cinemo may mga classic tagalog ***y movies hehe

Tried repositioning antenna to get better reception of etc, jack, and 2nd. Maayos so far yung 3 pero yung mga abscbn channels naman nag deteriorate.

Also, bigla na lang namatay kanina yung unit ko. Ewan ko ano cause. Tried to call yung smart hotline nila for help sana, kaso walang sumasagot buti na lang naayos din after unpluging it many times

May nakakita na ba sainyo nung ad ng tv plus sa olx? May stored channels daw from pangasinan to manila no need to rescan daw pag bumabyahe. Price is swap sa tv plus + 1k.

Just bought a TV-Plus last week for home use..
TV is at the ground floor, Bad signal if using the indoor antenna sa ground floor.
Tried bringing the antenna sa 2nd floor (indoor), signal is still low but was able to find around 8 channels.
Tried connecting to my outdoor baron antenna, signal becomes better and was able to find 22 channels.

Sulit sa halagang P2K sa noise free viewing of available digital channels.

Ok lang sa ground floor basta nasa bintana. Or better if nasa labas ng bintana. Magnet naman yung antenna e. Dikit lang sa bakal

Yup, battery will be an issue. They should have thought of putting another usb port on the device itself so you can connect a charger or power bank to piggyback on the device while it is connected to the phone/tab.

There's another kind of mobile DTV tuner available in the market, standalone naman siya. Kinda like a mobile router with antenna so you can connect different devices to watch TV. It can also be used in the car, just plug it in the 12V socket.
