please recommend a Wifi router

okay sir GH check ko na lang ang pagka alam ko kasi may 4 ports lang sa likod ng router pero wala ako matandaan na you could switch channels.

it's in web UI. In my case, I use a dual band router so there are two channel groups to tinker with.

Tanong ko na rin baka may alam kaung Wi Fi Modem Router yung kagaya ng sinusupply ng PLDT? Naghahanap kasi ako ng mas maganda klase na pwedeng lagyan din ng USB broadband para combine yung speed ng PLDT at Broadband ko. Possible ba ito?

Sa mga mura wala pa akong nababalitaan nakakagawa niyan. Sa mga high end, yung gamit ng mga corporation, kaya load balancing. Pero mas mahal siya.

Balitaan mo kami kung may makita ka na affordable, gusto ko rin ng ganyan.

weird yung nangyayari sa Linksys WRT320N ko: i made sure it was using an uncrowded channel, yet lumalabas na poor yung signal kahit pinatong ko na yung tablet sa router. i keep getting authentication errors, or the devices would simply refuse to connect. Halos lahat ng devices ganun ang behavior so tingin ko router me problema.

Then there'e the sudden packet loss that comes and goes. i doubt if the cabling's the problem.

i've hooked it up to an AVR just in case, ganun pa rin. Kinda miffed coz i shelled out around 3k for it, tapos pumapalya pa. Maflash kaya ng DD-WRT?

ONE MORE THING, for those using WIFI-N-routers, make sure your WIRELESS PHONE is not using the 2.4Ghz frequency because it will cause wifi network problems including dropped packets, etc.

kaya pala pag ginagamit ang wireless minsan napuputol connection. un pala un.... any remedy for it sir GH? or wag ko na lang gamitin ang wireless phone.

Not really. Change your wireless phone to one using either a higher or lower frequency or simply stop using the wireless phone.

There are USB Wifi routers available in computer shops. Prices vary.

ONE MORE THING, for those using WIFI-N-routers, make sure your WIRELESS PHONE is not using the 2.4Ghz frequency because it will cause wifi network problems including dropped packets, etc.

Or maybe try to use DECT wireless phones instead. My router is less than a foot away from the base of my wireless phone (both are wall mounted). We never experience any signal issue.
