Itong IBM R50e 1834PD2, bundled with WinXP Pro, same specs.
So I opted to buy from other source. Kaya card lang kinuha ko to avail their service. Pag GPRS nakailaw sa Aircard max speed mo is about 33-40kbps only. Swertihan sa EDGE connections which rises to 130-140kbps. Not much speed but what they're offering you is unlimited wireless coverage (as long as there is Smart with GPRS signal). Not like before add on 500 on top of 2,000 MSF bill.

Pag VPN (Virtual Private Network), connect ka sa sariling network to access internet. Think of it as your own channel/tunnel to communicate with your main server. Much more secured between laptop & server communications. To browse websites, you will have to go thru your own server (depending on its speed) Laptop> VPN> Server> Internet.
Pag Internet, independent internet connection. Laptop> Internet. But limited to GPRS = 40kbps or EDGE = 140kbps.
