PLDT myDSL Subscribers: is your connection OK?

kanina daan technician dito. he told my mom main nga daw problema.. sys co something. May nde na daw nila magagawan ng paraan nasa main daw so kelangan daw namen sumulat sa main (branch?) about the problem at sabihin na laging discon. at para na den ma refund sa men yung bayad kase nga useless dsl for more than a month. haaayy..

Nampucha, anlabo naman nun! Was there any particular reason why they're not able to do this themselves at ikaw pa ang kailangang sumulat sa kanila? Hindi ba nag-uusap ang mga iba't-ibang departments/offices nila?

my bro is thinking of getting a dsl connection for our home..(pldt my dsl) yung student package nila na 999/month for one year..but upon reading this thread..parang hindi worth it ang kasamang downtime and problems with being disconnected...

leap of faith yan bro. Ako nagpakabit and swerte, ok na ok naman ang connection ko. never pa nadisconnect

I'm sure mas marami pa ring satisfied naman. Goodluck. pwede mo namang ipadisconnect ata kapag palpak eh (if newly installed).

nasa ali mall ako noong 28th kaya nagpalipas oras ako sa netopia...

ts1n1ta ganyan din nangyari dito sa area namin noon...sa side ng pldt may problema...kulitn mo customer service nila para may refund sa bill...awa ni batman stable na pldt dsl connection dito sa area namin...

Buti pa WeRoam service nila 5days without disconnection! Napepeste lang ako kasi kailangan ko magconnect sa DSL server ko sa Manila na laging disconnected... kakabitin magtrabaho.

may network problem nga ang pldt mydsl

yesterday, it conked out (i.e. lost connection) all of a sudden. we called pldt customer service and after following their "prescribed" check list of disconnecting our computer, turning the speed stream modem on and off then turning the computer back on, wala pa rin

then they called back and said "sir, network problem pala"

bumalik after an hour and then after 2 hours, it conked out again. tawag na naman kami and they said "network problem" pa rin

but today, so far so good

Ok na ok pa rin mydsl ko so far!!!!! 900 kbps ang meter ko sa utilities.globequest.com.ph

Weird thing is, I've tried 3 pcs and 2 macs on it na. The 3 pcs and my powerbook needed dns entries for them to access the net properly.... then last night lang, my wife's new ibook logged on with no problems and I didn't even need to put in dns entries. Then another weird thing, one of the pcs worked too after I removed the dns entry when earlier it failed to do so.

Para saan ba ang dns entry?
