    Example

If your capacity is only 100 units but you have 75 units of new installation requests 50 units of repairs and 10 units of transfers...what will you prioritize?

In a perfect world we will have infinite capacity or at least capacity that matches demand...but its not a perfect world. Nor are the companies perfect. Ang daming red tape pa and circumstances beyond their control and revenue vs cost measures they have to balance.

That's Philippine customer service for you. Whoever is on the line will say what you want to hear para wag lang sila ang mapagalitan. Ipapasa na lang ang problema sa susunod na shift.

they have parallel lines. article didn't mention this but it did mention there will be no interruptions.

    technically the term is redundancy.

New line applications also have better promos and discount ...

No interruptions but there will be significant slowdown ...

PLDT assures measures in place to reduce impact of undersea cable upkeep | Inquirer News

Its not too bad. The way I see it. PLDT is not mentioning an "Upgrade" to keep competition at bay.

They shouldve published this in the first place. Some non-techie users thought they won't have internet for several days Lol.

    A little Google-foo wouldn't hurt.

    Just FYI...

The AAG cable is notorious for its frequent breaks and outages since it was made ready for service in late 2009.....The segments between the Philippines and the United States are quite stable. ....countries like Cambodia, Thailand, and Malaysia, which currently have fewer alternatives in place to reroute Internet traffic, are prone to severe service disruption when the AAG cable breaks, whereas Hong Kong, Singapore, and the Philippines, which are served by many different intra-Asia cables, are less affected.

We're right up there with HK and SG. I'm besides myself.

PLDT walang extra landline telephone... kaya siguro yung mga new applicants hindi pa makakabitan dahil wala pa sila stocks ng telephone... hahaha...

we requested severals weeks ago ng telephone since nasira ang cordless namin hanggang ngayon wala pa...

Dumating na lang yung order namin from lazada, wala pa rin feedback from PLDT... saklap!
