fafi glen, yan ang reason ko kung bakit yaw ko ipa mod yung ps2 slim ko eh. its not a guarantee na you can play all the games you want... pag minalas-malas, parang ganyan sa experience mo.

since nasa canada ka na naman ata, mas mura ata ps2 dyan. bili ka na lang ng bago para warrantied pa. tapos tago mo na lang yung modified mo for other games.

o kaya xbox360 na.... o antayin mo na lang muna yung ps3....

papi..sobrang natetempt na nga ako to buy another brand new non-modified ps2 slim eh...haaay.129$ lang dito..around 6,972petots. pero sayang naman itong modified ko..bili ko 250$..hurhurhur.1 month palang.pero nakakabad trip naman kasi. most of my games are original naman.pero itong gt4 talaga pinakagusto ko eh...hayay.

slim ps2's have fans naan inside them.nakakita ako ng nakabukas.

fafi... yun nga eh. yung GT4 mo, maski pirated or original, hindi mag play. tingin ko, sa unmodified unit tatakbo yan eh. since most of your games are original, why not get a new one. sobrang cheap dyan bro, i know coz i got my unit there.

tapos benta mo na lang yung modified unit mo dito locally. i think it can still fetch as high as 8-9k sa bidshot.

My shop uses PS/2 for rent. All are using HDD loaders and no problems with any of my games (so far).

RE: Slimline fans... better to get the slimline stand first... having it in vertical orientation helps cooling immensely. We've been running ours for months now with no problem, and that includes quite a few 24 hour races in GT4, plus a whole bunch of 8 hour load cycles.

I'd heard there were problems with non-slimline PS2s... full-sized box ba yung sa iyo? If so, then that's a common problem with GT4. Modded full-sized PS2s sometimes reject it.

Actually modded to play pirated games but i am not sure which version chip was used.

Hello nagpalagay ako ng ps2 hard drive sa eyo + HD loader na cd +network adaptor ngaun free ang game pag pumunta ako sa greenhills pero ito ang problema gus2 ko matutonan kung pano lipatin ang iso na nadownload ko sa hard drive at nag google ako e2 nakita ko - link - sabi "[SIZE=2]HDAdvance 3.0" <- ibang uri ng HD loader Cd.
may guide ba para sa hdloader na nabili ko? please paturo step by step o kaya palagay ng link.

if you have a classic ps2, buy ka na lang ng network adaptor sa virramall(1500 petot) then if you have an old 40GB hdd ok na yun... download mo na lang sa net yung hdloader... i just borrow my nephew's dvd games and load it. laking binilis ng loading time...

for slim line ps2 they solder a a hdd cord to the board and you'll have an external casing for the hdd. EYO does it. last time i asked think it was around 9k

mga peeps baka matulungan nyo ako dito. bumili kasi ako ng surplus japan na tv, sa dvd player ok naman display kaya lang nagroroll ang screen at black and white ang picture pag kinabit ko na ps2. do I need a PAL-NTSC video converter? PAL version kasi yung ps2 ko. ty.
