    Trying out MS Combat Flight Simulator 3. It's been a while since I had it installed. But, it still works great in Win 7 RC1.

    MS flight sim works great on a MS OS. Gee, what a surprise.

    Anyway, much as I think the Ubisoft IL-2 series is the definitive WW2 combat sim, there's something not right about its clouds and terrain. I think CFS3's puts it to shame.


    Plus CFS3 does widescreen to boot. Not bad for an oldie flight sim.

    I've just pre-ordered Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It's already getting very good pre-release reviews.

    Oh, and I just finished Batman: AA. Gameplay is very good. the character design and movement really feels like Batman. The only shortcoming I see is the story towards the end.

    Which racing wheel controller are you using with your Xbox360? is the g25 or g27 logitech racing wheel compatible on both PS3 and Xbox?

    If you plan to buy GT, might as well buy a driving wheel with stick shift and pedals. If it's usb, it might carry over to the next new console. The experience with a regular controller in driving games pales in comparison with a driving wheel. The preciseness and believability of control will add greatly to the immersiveness.

    It's like me with a joystick in pc flight sims. A mouse, keyboard, or game controller will simply not do for "flying" the plane.

    +1, also the force feedback also adds to the realism. Fighting for control on a tight curve is awesome.

    Even if it breaks, logitech does offer very good warranty. So it think overall it's a good buy even if you're not a hardcore racing sim fan.

    Well..... Since my main pc is dead, I've been gaming on my Toshiba laptop which has a near crappy ATI X1200. At least I can still play the original Homeworld with excellent framerates.


    *SIGH* If only Homeworld 2 was more playable on this laptop.....

    More FSX. It's much slower on the laptop though.....


    Pacific Fighters is much more easy on the crappy ATI X1200
